Default The Dark Knight Rises

Just saw the movie today. Thought it was pretty awesome actually. I wasn't nearly as excited to see it as I was The Dark Knight, but ended up liking it just as much, maybe a bit more even. Anne Hathaway rocked her suit and was a great Cat. Also great ending as well. Overall, what a great triliogy. One of the best ever.

I loved it. I wasn't sure what to think going in because I heard negative things about it. Critics are stupid...it was great.

Great series. I remember seeing batman begins for the first time and my jaw dropping. Too bad it has to end. The next ones won't be the same without what's his face directing.

The last 30 minutes was just a mix of emotions (seriously wanted to cry. It was so well done :-/)I loved this movie and think its the best of the series. The Dark Knight was disappointing to me where as the Dark Knight rises felt like a comic book coming to life. The scene with Batman returning and leading the cops on a chase gave me chills. Felt straight out of the comics.

Ann surprised me. I rolled my eyes early with her over reaction to Bruce shooting the arrow at her but she did an amazing job the rest of the way. Also, I think she's pretty ugly in everything else she's done but she was very hot in this.

I know Nolan is done and Bale is done but I'd like to see one more after the way it ended.

I think the orginal plan for this reboot was a solid trilogy it might be best if they stopped now.

The Dark Knight trilogy was amazing from beginning to end. Batman Begins, The Dark Knight, and The Dark Knight Rises may be the three best comic based moves EVER. Sad to see them coming to an end.

Rises was just as good as The Dark Knight was too. I didn't expect them to be able to pull it off completely. For anyone that hasn't seen it......go do that ASAP.

Ideally, anything good should leave you wanting more. I think the Harvey Dent line from Dark Knight also applies to movie franchises. "You either die a hero,or live long enough to see yourself become the villain." In other words, either you quit while you're ahead,or you milk the franchise until the fans are ticked off at you.

Rises was a great ending to a great trilogy, overall. It could have probably stood to have been editited down a little more, but like the rest of the movies,it had a great cast, good story, and was very well shot and directed.

Was good, dunno if I'd chalk it up to the best. I like the Frank Miller feel of the ending, definitely the best done part of the trilogy.

But man the first hour was boring.

Batman Begins was awesome.

The Dark Knight was good, but the joker seemed to be a little TOO omnipotent. It never explained how he was able to do so much without some sort of super powers.

Can't wait to see this last one.

And I am NOT a big fan of comic books. To me Batman and Iron Man are the best because they don't rely on magic or superhuman powers like other comic book heroes.

I meant one of the best trilogies ever, not best movie ever, if you were referring to my op.

Dude, I hate to raise your expectations so high, but I can't wait to see it again. It also made me want to go back and watch 1 and 2 even though I have seen them a few times. This movie was freaking awesome. I think Bane was even with Joker if not better of a villian. I may be in the minority, but that is how well Bane was played in this movie. I don't know how it related to the comics as I was never a fan of the comics, but he was pretty scary.

Honestly, not to put it on a pedestal for those who haven't seen it, but it's one of the best movies I've seen in a long, long time. Perfect combination of acting, cinematics, and the plot was amazing.

Puts the other two Batman movies to shame in my opinion, and that's saying a lot.

I agree. The depth of the characters was just enough. You were able to relate to everyone in the movie, and that made it all the more amazing.

I don't know, I was able to relate to him. As soon as he turned around and wondered what the heck just happened. He probably thought the horror screams were from him returning the kick off (not sure who was home and away though). You can see his body language go from excited to shocked.

So yes...EVERYONE.
