What a game. IMO, we needed this. After 3 consecutive blowouts, we pull off the gutsy win on the west coast. Now we get the Cowboys at home.
Great games by Benji, Dunlap and Reggie. Defense was pretty good overall. On offense, I think we miss Sanu already.

Yeah, I wasn't sure we'd miss Sanu this much, but his absence was pretty obvious. It was good to see Hawkins step up and make some plays for us though. Marvin Jones had a couple of catches and one awful miss. Christ, it hit him in the damn hands!

Looked to me like he had some room to run if he catches it too.

Marvin Jones has to step up. We're seeing now why he was drafted well after Sanu. What is on paper doesnt mean sheeat, Sanu is clearly the better WR. Scouts and coaches were right and Bengal fans were wrong on that one lol. But we still need him to step up, or someone.
On topic, I agree with the game balls. BJGE, Dunlap and Nelson for sure. Last edited by djam; 12-02-2012 at 08:28 PM. |

Sanu was playing some great ball the last few weeks.
We definitely missed him today and will continue to miss him if the FO and coaches don't do something to remedy the situation. |

Green Ellis is playing great.. Best time for our running game to get hot. 100+ yard game against one of the better run defenses in the league. Didn't see as much Peerman as I'd like though.

Lewis said one reason for the more efficient running game is the blocking downfield by the wide receivers. He said rookie receiver Marvin Jones had the block that sprung Green-Ellis on Sunday, and last week it was Jones's block that paved the way for Green-Ellis's 39-yarder.

Give the kid a chance, and he will outshine anyone not named Green on the team.
