The punt he fielded on the 1 yeah that was bad. Follows a good play with a bad one. But hes had some nice PRs when not near his goal line. i always though Peerman would be good on kickoffs.
Peerman showed some skill on KO three years ago in the PS, then we watched Caldwell return kicks and we know how that went. Reminds me of the same situation. Tate will not be here next year so move on now.

Dont move on now unless you ment trying peerman on kicks...

Tate is usefull and if they could find away to get him involved in the offensive snaps he could be a good weapon..

dont forget dude is still really young. (which means we can still develope him into a good WR if we want to try.) *still younger than the age Dalton was draft at

If you want to go back into NFL history and look at the best punt returner of all time, I would get some film on the great Gale Sayers of da Bears and just watch him because while he is remembered more for his physical ability, his strength was his mind. I've never seen anyone return punts like he did.
You could also go look at Lemar Parrish, both were great kick returners.
I modeled more than one move after Sayers, but I would put Parrish in the same catagory as Sayers. 28.5 yards a return is nothing to sneeze at.

Letting Bacon and Parrish go, was one of the dumbest moves Paul Brown ever made.

I would use Peerman, Mays, Marvin Jones, Hwkins, or someone else on Kick offs, and Adam Jones, or Hawkins on Punt returns.
We may want to look at a returner in the draft.

Tates bonehead moves should mean he is gone after this year. Making a mistake once is one thing, but making the same mistake time after time, is stupid.

You can't fix stupid, if Tate refused to listen and learn, he needs to go.

Catching the punt inside the 5 and letting it drive him back to the goal line was the absolute end for me! Tate needs to go!

Tate makes some questionable decisions but he his not a bad return man skills wise. Tate is top 15 in Return average in both punt and kick returns. Jones just happens to be top 5.

Teams have started just punting it out of bounds when Jones is back on punt return.

we have to have this game , if it were me , Adam Jones takes every single punt return . Tate is a stiff , i cant figure it out either . and why the heck does he continually bring kick offs out of the end zone , 8 to 10 yards deep ? down the ball , take the touchback , its not like your gonna run one back for a TD . down the friggin ball and let us start at the 20 instead of the 10 .

its simple..

You cant make plays if your Kneeling down every time.

You could have adam jones catch every punt but then he will probly pull a hammy or be gassed @ CB before games end.

Tate isnt as bad as everyone makes him out to be....

Better get use to seeing Brandon Tate back returning. Adam Jones surfaced on the injury report with the dreaded Hammy injury that has proned Jones entire career. At the least jones will not be returning punts on Sunday.
