I think Mikey should hire Kitna to go wherever Dalton is and work with him throughout the offseason. Without defenders and receivers, I don't know how much could be accomplished, but it's better than leaving everything to chance.

If that's the case then almost every coach in the NFL shouldn't be a coach.

You know it's the off season when an impossible thread like this keeps getting bumped to the top. There is no way Kitna is leaving what what he believes he was made to do to come back to the NFL , I mean really people?

I would prefer him as the back up QB, unless he is retired now. Palmer seemed to play much better with a seasoned vet like him behind him. In addition, he is an upgrade over Gradkowski. But completely agree the Bengals are in desperate need of a new QB coach in addition to a new OC.


Maybe Grad even has trade value now that the UT coach is now the new Browns HC.

Many forget that Kitna was the one who started the pull out of the "dark ages".

I almost think you need to leave Andy alone, lock him in the film room with AJ, Gresh, Whit, and BJGE. Open the door in May.
