I love how a thread designed to acknowledge the young and promising talent on the Bengals roster turns into a debate about Russel Wilson and RG3.....

But both are pretty sporty QB's in my opinion.
Yet, somehow Wilson lost more. A lot of fumbles are blamed on RGIII that are the RB's or WR's fault because of the offense they ran. When you run option plays half the game, you are going to put it on the ground a few times here and there, but a lot of them are the RB bobbling, misreading, or a bad lateral and not ball security.

The fumbles come down to luck. Fumbles are random, so there is close to a 50-50 chance the offense recovers depending on situations (In the pocket, on the run, down field). So basically, move RG3's fumbles to the mean. That would lead to a +2 advantage over Wilson still, but it does even it out

I disagree and didn't have RG3 as rookie of the year either. While RG3 does have the advertising, Wilson took his team further and laid the wood to the 49ers in the regular season, a bonus that made me smile. I also see both Luck and Wilson as having better careers than RG3 as well. Luck taking a 2 win team to the playoffs has to rank high in anyone's book. RG3 had a much better supporting cast.

I might consider taking Robert Griffin over Wilson if he would come out and tell people to stop calling him RG3. Until then, I'll take RW1.

So the Bengals only 3 legit pro-bowl caliber players made the under-25 all pro team?

Go figure...

Seems hard to believe Leshon McCoy is 25 or under. Dudes been around forever. Ages ago he was at Pitt.

RGIII has had reconstructive knee surgery twice on the same knee.

You can only have the surgery a maximum of two times on one knee, sooo...

I love watching him play, but there's at least a case to be made for Russell Wilson going forward.
