With the Cowboys switching defense up, they are expected to let him walk..

He can play end and lb.

If we can't secure Dunlap and MJ (or even of we do) I think he would be a great pickup and would only improve our already impressive pass rush!

I'm on board already...thoughts on him from the jungle?

Well they are letting him go because they are switching to a 4-3 and as long as zimmer is here we will be running a 4-3 Was this guy there when zimmer was there?

I'm on board with him as our new OLB. Much better than Lawson, and he can actually bring the heat off the edge. Some want a true OLB and I can understand that argument they have their points. I still like the hybrids, and as many DE's as we've tried to move to the OLB spot Marvin must as well.

I'm pretty sure he was in a 4-3 defense while at Purdue (?) or wherever it was he we t to school and he was a pretty good DE there.

I'd take him at either spot though personally

Why bring a 3-4 tweener to a 4-3? I think the lesson has been learned at the tweener coversion to 4-3 LB. We will secure MJ and Dunlap is under contract. Hopefully they will be returning Gilberry as well. So do not see a point in it.

Yup, I agree. The money needs to be spent on re-signing our core players and positions of NEED, not projects or positions that are not in need of improvement.

He would be a solid pickup, but he will cost some money and I would rather spend the money getting better at other positions

Great athlete. Had a ton of sacks and TFL in college. But I think he is pretty much a 3-4 guy.

If Zimmer and Lewis think he can fit in here then I would trust their opinion over mine, but I don't see it happening..
