How can they be trap games when each of the other teams have so much on the line as well? I look for dogfights of the enormous variety!

These next two games are huge and depending on the outcomes of the Ravens/Giants and Bengals/Steelers, the Bengals could be playing for the AFC North in the final game.

I just don't see the Ravens losing 4 in a row or the Steelers losing 3 in a row.

Marvin better have these guys ready to go.
The Bengals have changed alot of previous habits over the past season *....the next demon they have to exorcise id beating PIT and BAL. I really hope they can do it, but after seeing the O the last two games my gut tells me the Philly win was our last of the season.

The Bengals got their Christmas gift early this year in Philly last week. Just like last season, it looked like they would flush another deluxe opportunity to control their own destiny.

The Ravens and Steelers are tanking. The Bengals could not be any more fortunate. If they go out and play their butts off, and avoid stupid mental errors - they can win both of these games going away. It's up to Marvin to coach that kind of performance out of them.

If they blow this opportunity, it will be tragic.

In my fantasy we exorcise all of our demons by beating:

Pittsburgh
Baltimore
New England
Denver
Houston
49ers
I see what you are saying, but someone said, one game at a time.

There's a very realistic senario that has the Baltimore game meaning absolutely nothing.

When was the last time Marvy had the guys ready to go in a big game?

Jones-needs to make some big catches become a solid 2
Gresham-needs to put play Miller
Green-needs to be a factor the steelers are hurt at DB no drops get involved early 100 yard game
GREEN-ELLIS-One of the biggest factors 25 plus carries over a 100 yards
ANDY DALTON-Biggest factor he needs to PROTECT the football and extend plays
OLINE-Needs to protect Dalton
D-Make tackles, sack Ben, take away the pass they have a lot of weapons in the passing game

I would argue the Giants game at home was a pretty big game for this season as we went onto win the next 3 games with this momentum.

There's also one that has it deciding the AFCN crown. And therefore the #4 seed instead of the #6 seed.

The steeler game is huge !

Will have to wait and see if the Ravens game has Playoff of Division Championship on the line, or just a formality for each.

But the steeler game is HUGE !

Default Perfect test to end the season

I was thinking about this the other day. The Bengals organization has changed so much over these last couple years. I remember buying an authentic Palmer jersey and a cool orange Chad jersey because I knew for sure they would be here till they retired(well, Carson anyway). Now, Carson is a Raider and Chad isn't even playing. Their jerseys have been retired and replaced by Dalton and Green jerseys(Atkins jersey is up next, dude is a BEAST). Even with the awesome changes happening the last couple years, we still get pushed to the kids table by Baltimore and Pittsburgh.

We are 17-7 against the rest of the NFL the past two years, but 0-6 against Baltimore and Pittsburgh. Now, we have a chance to completely eliminate the Steelers from the post-season and possibly even take the division away from Baltimore. What better way could we possibly show we have arrived than by beating Pitteburgh and Baltimore on the way to winning our division?

Can someone make it be Sunday already?

Sure, 9 wins last year, 8 wins this year = 17 wins total the last two years (Dalton era)

Baltimore 0-2 last year, 0-1 this year
steelers 0-2 last year, 0-1 this year

Makes the last two games all the more interesting; we have a chance to break that trend, get a playoff position at the expense of the Steelers, and possibly even take the division from Baltimore.
