****SPOILERS*****

The only really crazy part that followed the showdown hype was the governor going crazy and gunning his people down, which by the way, his little assistants are cowards for not taking him out once they saw him taking their own people. Up to that point, I thought that were really about taking care of the town, not following the tyrant. Of course, him going out that way wouldn't be great for the story so, meh, I understand it.

other than that, the "battle" if you'd call it that was a big let down. And somehow despite firing automatic weapons from fortified elevated positions on troops retreating from a narrow and open location, Maggie and Glen killed how many people? None? Yeash.

And I'm not sure what happened in the comics, but I think Michonne likes her some Rick.
****SPOILERS*****
I'm glad I'm not the only one thinking this! The looks she's been giving Rick sure seem like she's willing. Sounds like Andrea and Rick had a "thing" in the comics, but since Andrea's been taken out now, I think Michonne fills that role with Rick. Bow-chicka-bow-bow.

She was in a relationship with old man Dale until he died. After the move to DC, she gets some attention from this one guy at their new town but that doesn't work and she begins sleeping with Rick. There's an awkward moment when Carl walks in on them (you see some comic Andrea butt). She is in her late twenties in the comic and Rick isn't suppose to be that old (Carl is only like 8)

So according to Huff Post contributor David Aronchick, the Co-Founder and CEO of Hark, the so-called and self proclaimed ringtone magnet, the Season 3, blockbuster finale fell flat for five reasons. Among which was the hasty firing of the shows veteran writers, which Aronchick describes as a partial reason that he asserts the show has jumped the shark.

Pointing out that Andrea, the two faced, gutless, backstabbing, sleeping with the enemy vixen, (his assessment not mine), deserved no less than a proverbial gruesome death rather than a tender moment of remembrance, prefering instead I suppose she be tied to a truck bumper and dragged down the road. He also points out that Merle had a far greater impact on the character development and ultimate journey of the group in the show than was provided for in his story demise and suggested the show dissed him as no more relevant than a stand-in bit actor. Aronchick concludes the show may have run it course from several reasons including a critical mass effect of the audience and a developing lack of ingenuity in the present scripts as compared to seasons 1 and 2.

It's all here:

I was sad to see merle go.. But i was glad they gave him the exit they did. They could have killed him off as simply as him getting shot handing over machonne. But they gave him his redemption moment... he had always been a hardass but machonne pointed out he was never a killer till the governer. He lost his way a bit but pulled it back at the end. But the group will miss him dreadfully.

Yeah you could see Merle's reclamation coming in the last couple shows. The bond of brothers was stronger than anything else. But this guy really ripped Andrea, not taking into account the writers or at least the one's they had were attempting through the seasons to show what would transpire to individual characters when faced with this catastrophy apocalypse. So while Andrea could be blamed for some things, I don't see she was evil reincarnate. Mixed up, scared, looking for acceptance and making wrong decisions. Ain't that what we all do. In normal life, let alone what they are presenting.

Did her character deserve a touching moment and memorial segment. Maybe not, but I don't think she deserved a gruesome ending either.

A lot of people hated Andrea but honestly, I didnt really have a problem with her. She genuinely cared about everyone and was only looking out for everyones best interest.

Theres reasons to hate her... And reasons to like her.

But she did go thru a pretty big transformation herself.

Actually, I shouldnt have said I never hated her, because at times I found her more than annoying. You are right though, through this season she went from being very annoying to being tolerable to being actually likable. As we understood her reasoning and her purpose she became more and more manageable.

Yeah... I agree. At first after her sister died she was completely unlikable then she starts to grow on you a little bit after taking up with shane then you dislike her again for ditching Machonne then you find out shes trying to save everyone and that cost her her life.

I like when we get to see characters really develope it makes a better story.

(like if you have read the game of thrones series.... You start out hating Jamie Lannister... But by the end of book 4.. He could be one of your favorite characters.)
