I would have no problem taking a WR with one of the top 3 picks. Robert Woods would be a great fit in the 2nd round.
Being that I doubt we pay a premier free agent WR...we will probably have to go this route.

I don't agree with that. Laveranues Coles, Antonio Bryant, T.O. Those were all big name proven guys that we spent a butt ton of cap space on, and none of them worked out so great.

No, those were all just stupid decisions by Mike Brown, not proof that free agents don't work.

Coles was old and small. We should've just added an extra million/per and kept TJ. Especially considering TJ was Carson's favorite WR.

Bryant was a mistake that was caused by Mike Brown's cheap medical staff.

TO was cheap, and quite honestly, he produced. To the tune of 983 yards and 9 scores in only 13 games.

I know he was a convenient scape goat for the 2010 season, but the dude balled while he was here.

Benson and our defense were the reasons for our slide that year.

Offseason checklist:

1. Fire Paul Alexander [ ] didn't happen
2. Let Maualuga go, move Burfict to MLB [ ] didn't happen
3. Sign a veteran WR [ ]
4. Draft a speed back high [ x ]
5. Draft a SS high [ x ]
6. Drop Lawson, draft a replacement [ x ]
7. Draft a center and let him battle with Cook & Robinson [ ]
8. Let Clements go [ x ]
9. Bring back Andre Smith [ x ]
10. Bring back MJ (as long as he doesn't demand elite money) [ x ]

These things need to happen to take the next step

This was mike brown giving his 100 mil dollar QB who he asked for (that was the mistake)

Coles / TO / A Bryant all guys Carson liked.

TO Produced but his effort was noticably lacking or his talent has dropped considerably.

If he had been giving it is all he would have had over 1500 yards with all the balls he didnt catch but should have.
