Actually Tomlin said it was later in the game that he hurt his ribs.

I think Lefty is cursed, like I said earlier he could line up in the pistol formation, decide to take a 5 step drop and on step 4 he would trip over his own feet, fall and break his arm.

No but I do think he stretches the truth often. Look it was quite clear that Mr. Goodberger injured his ribs on that TD run of his...What occurred later was probably further damage being done and, Like I said before, he may not have brought the issue to him till later in the game.

But it is quite impossible for you or Tomlin to rule out the obvious video evidence.

Meh not worth debating about anyhow, he should not have even been in that game in the first place. Batch is a much more dependable QB imo and with the way our defense played we could have won that game had he been in there instead of Lefty. They still have only two QB's, Batch and Hoyer, I think they may need one more.

Disagree to a point. Lefty was the correct starter but should have been pulled after it was obvious he was hurting.

Maybe he should have started, but I can understand why he stayed in the game.

1. He basically hid how bad he was hurting.
2. This is the real reason imo. Had Tomlin pulled him and put Batch in, then we are left with only him. What if he got hurt? Now we are out of QB's. So I think he may have stayed in because Tomlin didn't want to risk losing his 3rd string QB. By keeping Batch out, he would have a little bit more time on getting another QB.

I think he left him knowing he was hurt and not wanting to risk Batch considering the game was so close. Had we been down by 14 I think we may have seen Batch.

I don't understand running Mendy so often when Dwyer was producing.

I agree about Mendy, hell I think Dwyer should be our starting RB anyhow, at least he runs north to south instead of doing a ballet around the line.
