22 Year drought ends on 1/5/13 @ 4:30PM
Bengals are the only team in NFL that has not won a playoff game 22 years. That's drought is about to end Saturday. 1/5/13 @ 4:30PM. Andy is going to step up and have the game of his life and silence many of us (myself included). It's just my gut feeling. He's been in a frump for far to long something has to give. This insane playoff drought is about to topple just like the 30 year back to back playoff appearance, and getting through Pittsburg.

I have the same gut feeling. I have had this gut feeling before and we have had success. I had it for the steelers game 2 weeks ago, and i also remember having it on the road against green bay 3 years ago.
With that said i am still extremely skeptical of this offense......I just think this defense will find a way.

I would say we're due. Let's hope that this win pushes the team and organization to the next level. A bad loss here might cause a step back.

I have the Bengals pulling out a 21-16 win. So there you all go.

By 7:30 PM tomorrow, the Denver Broncos will be shaking in fear at the prospect of having to face the Bengals.

I am very cautiously optimistic and literally am going crazy with anticipation for the game. The defense will keep us in the game regardless but it is going to come down to the offense. If they can put some points on the board, the defense will do their job and I see a good outcome. If not, well we'll see.
Regardless, I am extremely excited.

Actually it would end a franchise drought since we've never won a playoff game on the road in our 44 year + existence.

If the defense can get a score like they have the past 3 games, it's in the bag. IMHO I am also very skeptical of the offense, need to pound BGE at them and let him carry the offense as far as he can (hopefully the hammy holds up). I also have that gut feeling good things are going to happen today!
I also can't understand why Tate is still returning kickoffs...... it baffles me. If he runs the opening kickoff out from 8 yards deep i may need a new TV because i might kick it off the stand! WHO DEY!!

I don't expect us to win. I'll be rooting for it, though.
I think you all should temper your expectations. Remember who the QB is. Remember who the coach is. If the Bengals win it will be in spite of them. |

My Brother you was right on. Dalton is taking this team no where. Yes there were dropped balls but a quality QB adjust's and adapts. He looked absolutely rattled out there today. What rattled me as a fan was his sideline attitude. Smiling and joking ??? Kid don't you see the only enzone points in two game were scored by our defense! There's a lot of talent on this team.We need to look past this kid and realize he's a backup QB at best. |

The good news: The 22 year drought did, indeed, end today.
The bad news: The 23 year drought began. ![]()

I'm as frustrated as anyone. I hate this. Dalton isn't the answer. That much is obvious. Unfortunately, we have to suffer at least 1 more year of him.
This isn't acceptable. We deserve better. We should demand better. |
