Why Lewis should be fired:
Calling the last timeout with 14:38 left in the game. The entire section I sit in was complaining about it. MARVIN LEWIS has awful clock management skills. I've said for 7 years he needs a game management assistant. This will be brushed aside by Lewis (as usual) ALSO, why a gruden calling 3 passing plays on last possession instead of taking time off clock by running the ball?!?!?! Cowboys could never have made it to Bengals 20 yd line had they managed the clock better. Gruden is going nowhere after this season because he nowhere near ready to be a head coach. Lewis ha maximized his ability as a coach-- PATHETIC AND MENTALLY DEFICIENT AT MANAGING THE GAME/CLOCK |

Going into the 4th quarter with zero timeouts is asking for a heartbreaking loss. That's what we served the Dallas Cowboys on a silver platter.
Honestly, we're lucky this didn't happen against San Diego, because it almost did. |

Why don't you blame the players who dropped passes and made costly interceptions or could not make interceptions when the ball came to their hands. Your comments are ridiculous, the timeouts were neccessary because of having like 10 men on the field. If Lewis did not call a timeout with a field goal attempt with 10 men on the team, your biased comments would be why he did not call a timeout if the field goal was blocked.

Yes he should not be allowed to manage the timeouts or carry any red flags.

Biased comments? He should have used all 3 timeouts the way he did?
One is forgiveable- the not enough men on field Using all 3 is asinine- you're an idiot for defending Lewis-- to say that is biased shows your lack of understanding that the little details/common sense plays a crucial role in games... Lewis has done this year after year. Dropped passes and dropped interceptions are PHYSICAL MISTAKES Poor clock management is a MENTAL MISTAKE- something Lewis continues to excel in... |

The interceptions would have been great, but every one of those were tough catches to make. The 3rd down conversions by the WR's on the other hand, not so difficult.
Typical Bungle management and WR drops that should have extended drives were to blame. Not tough non interceptions. |

Lewis got us 4 wins in a row...So in Mikes mind that means Lewis is set to be our head coach for another 4 years....I said i want Lewis gone if we don't make the playoffs because it's unacceptable to not make the playoffs this year when you made it last year. But like i said, those 4 wins really got Mike's di** hard so plan on Marvin to stick around for another year or possibly even another 10 years just because of those 4 wins in a row we had.

I wanted Marvin gone years ago but common people 3 freakin TO's didnt cost us the game, this one falls on the players we missed out on so many chances to pull away too many dropped passes and dropped Int's. If this team wants to be in the playoffs then we just need to man up and beat the big boys in our div. Everyone else it beating them why cant we? if we dont beat pitt and Balt then we just dont belong in the playoffs. Its still in our hands.

Yea. It was pretty **** poor management today. The sad part is, one was called because there weren't enough players and there was another because there were too many.

I realize the three TO's did not directly cost us...
A coach MUST know he will might need those late in the game. Especially an NFL head coach. Year after year- if it's not poor challenges, it's misuse of the timeouts. If its not that, it's putting in cook over Robinson because he's the "designated starter." Poor officiating happens. It's part of the game. Poor clock management gets you fired- on every team but this one And dropped passes are physical, not mental- IDIOT |

So is keeping the red hot Law Firm on the bench for half the game! Running BenJarvus Green-Ellis is the best thing for clock management since the invention of the sundial.

dropped passes are physical mistakes. it's asinine to call that a mental mistake. Don't care how it happens--> that is not a MENTAL mistake
Coaching decisions that Lewis/Gruden made--> MENTAL mistakes. Not knowing how to get a replacement in quickly enough/having a back-up plan for Maualuga that costs a timeout--> MENTAL calling timeout TWICE for not having the right personnel on the field (10 or 12 men or whatever it was)--> MENTAL Calling 5 passing plays the last 4 minutes of the game rather than chew up clock by running the ball--> MENTAL Substituting Cook for Robinson after the Bengals chewed up roughly 35 yards rushing during their first offensive series--> MENTAL Only rushing Ellis for 12 times--> MENTAL Not rushing Ellis at all the last series--> MENTAL Seems to me there were alot of mental mistakes this game.... |

BRILLIANT RESPONSE....
We may control our own destiny but Lewis' game management skills (lackthereof) will cost the Bengals SEVERELY before the season is over... |

We did so much wrong that game, every single person was to blame except our kickers, coach included. There were so many plays and points left on the field. I think we left over 13 points on the board. I bet that loss feels weird because we definitely controlled the game, and it doesn't feel like a loss - but you look at the scoreboard and it's an L.
