With Sanu now out for the year (most likely), Tate won't be cut. He knows the offense (kinda) and can return (kinda).
But he better not be re-signed next year. |

someone please tell him that when you return kicks you have to run north and south and not sideline to sideline, sometimes he looks like he's auditioning for dancing with the stars

Really? Yeah that's okay if he taking it out from 2-3 yards deep. Not freaking 8-9 which he does at least twice a game. He thinks he's superman but really he a ****.

His decision making on kickoffs has been brutal. The drop really set us back and the continuous decisons to come out 9 yards deep is a##nine.

I second that! I was hoping against hope all off-season that some move would be made to make him gone but, alas, it was not to be. And yes, I said, "alas".

There is an argument to be made for running the ball out, even if you are likely to get stuffed short of the 20 because you at least get a chance of breaking a big one. As for the rest of the offense, is 85 yards that different from 80 yards?
Here's a different question. Is Tate better than Jones, Binns, and Whalen? I keep hearing good things about Whalen, but I feel like I haven't seen enough of him to say. Binns seemed sort of clutch (good at catching sideline passes) but disappeared for stretches. Jones seems like he has the most potential and is very fast, but maybe needs some more years under his belt. Brandon Tate is arguably our most experienced WR, unless you count Andrew Hawkins and his time in the Canadian league.
