Potential DC Replacements if Zim goes.

chances are great he picks up a Head coaching spot this offseason... In this event Whos available to bring in. (Whos out there now who will be come February)

Or who would you want (if you wanted to grab a Position coach to become DC)

I dont want zim to go but if his D continues this thru the playoffs He will be highly saught after in the offseason.

I don't think any DC would want a lateral move, so the replacement would have to come from a lower level coordinator.

I don't know enough to name names, but it would be nice , if we could pluck a LB or D-line coach from a successful defense.

a sleeper choice is Marvins old friend Jack Delrio.

Mike Brown needs to be proactive and hire Adam Zimmer as the Assistant Defensive Coach (Hue's position this season). That way Mike Brown can move all of Mike Zimmer's family to town. Only one possible problem Mike Zimmer becomes the head coach of the Cleveland Browns.

Delrio is in Denver as a DC and won't lat move here. Denver is probably going to have a rough time hanging on to him too.

This guy can't manage a game to save his life. He does more mistakes like that in the playoffs and we are screwed.

IDK the last son/legacy we hired, cough Shula, didn't work out so good. The other one Gruden, well.......maybe he will touch his playbook and start over, he's got two weeks.

I still think Promote Marvin to GM, Zim to HC, and Adam as DC.
I no this will never happen just a thought.

Now as Far as Marvin Promoted to GM and Zimmer to HC thats my favorite opition and something i called for last year. Just imagine if Zim can get this out of our D what he can do for a Whole Team... (also though his son would have been a good choice for an assistant coach spot....)

but even in this scenario we are out a Defensive Coordinator.. (Mark Carrier just got here. Gunther has done well with the LBers but just made it to that level....) If we are looking in House is there any chance Coach Hayes gets a shot? (i would pefer him to stay right where he is but hes been here the longest and the DL is why we are winning)

I didn't say as the Defensive Coordinator but the assistant under his dad. I would really love Mike Zimmer as the Head Coach, but I would like for Mike Brown to make a move to try to at least keep him on as the Defensive Coordinator especially after losing Coyle during the last off-season. Mike Zimmer really is what he said he was the "Defensive Back Whisper" best quote ever lol.

wonder how much of an extenstion he received last year i know it was 3 years but the $$$$ amount.... I wonder if mikeys willing to hand him 5 mil and say dont leave lol
