Personally thought he looked great the beginning of this year, impressed with his cuts considering the previous years injury. I'm with you, 3rd or 4th is the first round I would take him, but don't think he'll be around that long. James Andrews can say whatever he wants about his progress, that was just too brutal for me to believe he'll be 100% for the 1st game, which is what we really need. Hope the kid can prove me wrong though, handled the situation with real class.

If we had a stud RB already I would be ok with Lattimore but they need a guy that is healthy and can go through minicamps, TC, etc.

Lattimore is awesome, but the injuries makes this a high risk. Kid reminds me a little bit of AP. AP also had injuries, and look at what he is still doing, but...everybody is different though.

That would be the prudent way. But somebody will be able to take the risk early and end up with a helluva player. But weighing the pros and cons, it wouldn't be a wise move for the Bengals to take him early. Somebody will take him no later than the second though if his health is even supposed to eventually check out.
