I think I am going to go with the rocketbladez and try them out. After working with one of my friends (hes a PGA pro at a local golf course) I am going to see what he says about getting them fitted.

They fit me last year with a nice set of Titleist AP1s (I still shoot in the 90's, but I was shooting in the 100's). TaylorMade RocketBladez are better than the RocketBallz to me. The guy that fit me had me hit Titleist, Nike, Adams, TaylorMade, Ping and Calloway. He took his time and really helped me make the decision.

If you've never played-or played sparingly-though, go to a Muni PGA Pro (Reeves has a good one, but Winton Woods has the best) for the fitting. They aren't paid bonuses for the clubs they sell, but they will help your swing first and then fit your swing. The Golf Ranch in Kentucky is run by a former tour pro-can't remember his name.

Doug Martin is the Golf Ranch owner, and current golf coach at UC. Andrew Stephens is his assistant, and both are available for lessons at the Ranch.
I just bought a set of Rocket Blades, and even though I've only played them twice so far they're impressive, especially in this colder weather. Ball seems to just launch off the face.

My brother had the best funny line associated with golf I've heard in some time. One day we were talking about golf and I asked him how his game was and he said, "I play in the mid-80s. Any hotter than that and I stay in the clubhouse and drink."

Cincinnati Golf Show at the the Duke Energy Convention Center January 18-20 will have lots of deals on everything. Your chance to pick up stuff other than clubs at good prices plus there will be workshops and demonstrations you don't get to see anywhere else.
