Anyone NOT want Eddie Lacy in stripes next year? Kid runs with anger and can cut on a dime. Was a big Richardson fan, but this kid honestly looks better...

Saw a lot of mocks with him falling into the 2nd somewhere...I'd happily take him with our 1st and plug and play with the 2 seconds...

But we probably arent smart enough to draft him.

Just like the Bengals aren't smart enough to take a TE in the 1st round (Gresham) or a Guard in the 1st round (Zeitler).

Impossible to jump up two rounds when he was already projected as a second-round pick. I do think he did jump up from late second to early second though.

He should be there in the second round, i rather use the first pick on a safety or center.

I really hope we get a FA safety who is still young we Need a guy who can come in and solidify our defensive backfield.

Hall can play at a pro bowl level
Nelson is another guy who could be a pro bowler
Insert Byrd
Adam Jones is an above average CB and Dre could be a shut down guy if he ever gets healthy

I like what he brings to the table, definetly, but if I'm looking for anything out of a RB this year, it's speed. The ability to take it to the outside and just run. I've said it before, I don't want 2 of the same RB's in a rotation. Probably the biggest reason why Lacy did so well was because he complemented Yeldon perfectly. Teams had a hard time scouting the ground game becuse it was two different types of RB's spliting carries. If we didn't have BJGE for this year and most likely the next 2 with his contract, Lacy is a great foundation back. But not someone you want to complement with a guy like Green-Ellis.

Are you saying we can't find a starting saftey in arguably one of the deepest positions in this upcoming draft. Hell I dont know which one I like best and wish we could draft two of them.

Have you ever watched him play? He has a ton more speed than Green-Ellis and his quickness and cuts are ridiculous. He's MUCH MUCH better than BGE( I like him too) and should be a very good RB for a long time, he's built to last.

If you want a speed guy, I'm really big on Barner from Oregon. He's a 4.3 guy with decent size and can still run between the tackle and break the long one on any carry.
Would also relieve Tate of any punt/kick returns, EVER. He would be dynamic.

Lacy- Every down back, reminds me of Arian Foster. Big, Fast and quick.
BGE- Get that 3rd and short/ goal line every time.
Barner- 3rd down back/ break the long one/ great hands/ Could even use him as a reciever and draw up certain plays.
