Cinci 8-6
Pitts 7-7!

We beat Pittsburgh next week and we CLINCH a playoff spot!

We need the Giants, who were completely EMBARRASSED by an Atlanta team that was EMBARRASSED last week, to get their revenge on the Ravens next week....

...and then we can win the division in week 17 at home!

This is... SWEET!

What if the bengals lose to the steelers,
the steelers then lose to the browns the last week,
we beat the ravens the last week,
and the jets lose to TEN tom, (or any other game the next two weeks)

We are in, correct?

just to be clear, I really am not counting on that scenario, just curious. If we cant beat the steelers right now, we have no business playing the Patriots in the playoffs.

Regardless of how the Ravens do next week... if we lose next week, and win the next and Pittsburgh does the reverse (win next week and lose the next) AND the Jets lose 1 of the next 3...

...we're in.

So, let's not depend on the Browns... let's just WIN next week. (And let's hope Tennessee kicks *** tomorrow night!)

Unfortunately, no chance we win a tiebreaker with Baltimore. We have to win out and they have to lose out for us to win the division.

There is an excellent chance the Bengals could win the AFC North and host a playoff game as the fourth seed. The Ravens are hanging by a thread and the Steelers are in letdown mode after their emotional loss to the Cowboys. The Bengals will be coming off ten days rest after a win and the defense is now ranked no worse than sixth in the entire league.

Indeed, thats the hand we've got. Just saying it really should'nt have come down to an all or nothing game in Pittsburgh to decide our fate for the season. We should be out of their sight. But it is what it is, and not to forget we were dead at 3-5. So out of nowhere we've pulled out a situation where a win against the Steelers would get us in the playoffs a week early.
