If we re-sign Michael Johnson, do we still need to draft a DE?

Since Ogletree is a LB, we definitely could still draft Ogletree. As for whether we would still draft a DE if we re-signed MJ, I would hope yes. The reason is because we only have Dunlap and Anderson on the roster, with MJ, Gilberry, and Geathers all FAs. I would like to see Gilberry and MJ re-signed, and still draft a DE at some point.

We have 3 DE free agents. I think we will keep 2. Johnson and Geathers. I'd love to keep WG but I think he gets offered bigger money than we will pay.
So I think we will still draft a DE, but not in 1. Unless we also lose MJ.

This is it most likely, though I'd love to see us keep status quo, or at least one/two year deal for Gilberry and a long-term deal foor MJ, and draft a future DE for development.

Re: Johnson = no Ogletree?
Well yeah, but as far as the DE situation goes we should resign Johnson, Gilberry, and Geathers.
I do fear that Wallace will get a bigger contract than we really need to offer him because GM's are stupid for a half decent DE, but he wouldn't be grossly overpaid I don't think. Just with our FA and future FA's do we really have room to offer the guy what a 3-5 mill contract? Hopefully he enjoys his career renaissance here and would stay for less? Huh I just went back and looked, but Gilberry has had a halfway decent career so far. I thought he was Atlanta's draft pick from a few years ago out of Richmond XD I don't get why KC and Tampa cut him, oh well good for us hopefully we show him some loyalty and that we want him here and maybe he'll be more inclined to stay.

Re: Johnson = no Ogletree?
Not sure if you are aware but Ogletree is an outside linebacker.
