my 1st Mock Draft

Have not studied a ton yet but right now this is what I like.

(1) LB... Kevin Minter "LSU"

2A) RB...Giovani Bernard "NC"

2b) C....Travis Frederick " Wisconsin"

(3) SS....Robert Lester " Alabama"

(4) WR...Conner Vernon " Duke"

(5) OG.... JC Tretter "Cornell"

(6) CB.....Adrian Bushell "Louisville"

Not bad although 3,4 and 6 could be different.

Lester is not bad but should be better available at that time(swearinger).

I like the kid from Duke but if i'm gonna draft another slot WR in this draft and he was white it's be Ryan Swope.


Bushell is currently a 4th rd grade.

Would like taking Vaccarro as well. But he is ranked the 9th overall pick on CBS. I use CBS early and then cross reference with Mayock and others later.
Just do not see him being available to us without trading up. Which I am not a fan of.

Would be fine with Matt Elam though. B-fine pun intended.

But think stud LB's are not going to fall and think Lester would be adequate for our needs.

Plus I always make my own judgements on players. Just use rankings to slot them in rounds.

CBS ranks Vaccarro 9th and Minter 29th. We pick 21st. Hope Walter is correct and he falls. But still like LB here.

Really prefer picking up Jarius Byrd to free up draft options..

Have watched every game Bushell has played and do not feel he is 4th round talent. Think he is worth a shot late though. But hope I am wrong and he becomes a star in NFL.

Would not mind bringing in Louisville's WR Andrell Smith in for try out after draft.

Bridgewater spreads the ball around a lot and it is hard to shine here. But good possession receiver. Led team in catches.

Mario Benavides is worth a late round flyer as well. But think he is ranked slightly high too.

But starting next season when Charlie Strongs recruits start graduating or leaving early. Grab them quick. Bridgewater and Devante Parker first.

Not bad. I would take a flier on a star RB that fell to the 5th or 6th round. Like Lattimore. This way if he is healthy then you get a freak back that would compliment Benard and help take pressure away from Dalton and AJ. If not then not a serious loss of a pick. Of course I prefer Lattimore but Knile Davis or Christine Michael could be options.

In your draft you have us taking Bernard, if we didn't take him, then I would actually go 5th and 6th a combination of the 3. Lattimore and Michael, or Lattimore and Davis or Michael and Davis.

There isn't an Eric Berry or Mark Barron caliber safety coming out this year. I don't consider Vaccaro to be on that level just a high tier talent 15-25 guy.

i really like minter he is in the top two in this years lb group and he very well could be the best in the pros at safety i like rambo running back ball wis, frankilin ucla, lacy ala, or maybe take a chance with lattimore sc.
