DEC 29th, 6:45 PM, ESPN v. ![]() OSU JORDAN POYER/ CB ![]() Consensus 1st team All-American and possibly the best cover corner in the nation. Second in the nation with 7 INTs (including 1 pick 6). 13 INTs for his career included 3 ran back for TD. Was a force in the return game early in his career. Should get along well with Rey was arrested for a Bar Fight this past off season. MARKUS WHEATON/ WR ![]() Dual threat WR, 88 catches for 1207 yards and 11 Tds. Throw in 116 yards rushing and a couple more Tds. Has experienced a a Kick Returner. Leaves OSU as the new career reception leader. 6'0”, 182 with legit 4.4 speed. NEVER gets shut out; has at least 1 catch in 35 consecutive games. UT ALEX OKAFOR/ DE ![]() 60 tackles (12 TFL), 8 sacks, 3 FFs, and 1 blocked kick. All that and he missed the last 2 games of the season. Was supposed to be part of a dynamic duo; however, was forced to go solo when Jackson Jeffcoat was lost for the season KENNY VACCARO ![]() Prototypical size and speed for an NFL Safety. 87 tackles and 2 INTs. Has the cover skills to cover slot receivers and the size to man up against TEs. Last edited by bfine32; 12-29-2012 at 06:13 PM. |

As an Oregon State fan I just have to say, Poyer was not involved in a bar fight, it was hardly an incident and the bar owners had to apologize to Poyer afterwards.

I'm liking the speed I see from Marquise Goodwin. He would make a nice replacement for Tate.

Okafor has been a personal favorite. He would be a fine pick at 2A. Folks are giving him the dreaded "tweener" label, which may allow him to fall.

I'm not sure he'd last that long. NE would definitely take him late first I would imagine.

He was an Olympic long jumper too.
I'm not fan of smaller WRs but Goodwin is a giant blip on my late round radar now. |

It appears Okafor is trying to make a statement that he should be the first DE drafted.

6'5" 265 is tweener? That's almost prototype end. You don't mean Olb, do you? As I'm sure Okafor'd do fine like aldon smith in that role.
He played a little dt early in his career, but that only helped him be more complete as a rusher. I think we'd be more than fortunate if he somehow dropped to us in 2a. He's first round material thru and thru.

He's around the same size as Hawkins I believe.

I think he'd have to be a first round pick. He's the right type of player for those fanchises drafting late (Good worker, great production, solid in a lot of areas). But he won't be a tweener. He's at great size and ability to play end

He's 5'10" 175. I'm looking at him as a pure returner with not much to offer as a WR. I think the WR corps will be locked down next year (barring injury) with Green Sanu, Jones and Hawkins. Goodwin would strictly be a 5th or 6th guy that returns kicks, maybe punts, I haven't seen him return any punts yet.

265 is more than 2 of the DEs on the AFC's Pro Bowl roster. We list MJ at 270.
