When I was younger my mom would joke all the time about how life is a ***** and than you die. I never really understood what she meant than, but now I do.

I work full time and have since I was 18 after high school. In 2000 I started with my current employer and was my first normal job where I did not work strange retail hours. My hours have not changed at all since I started. 8:30-5:00 or 8:00-4:30, my pick, Monday thru Friday. I typically have to get up around 6AM just to make it to work for 8ish. I typically get home around 5:30 or 6:00 each night.

For the last four years until the beginning of this past October, my wife work the night shift M-F 6-11PM. I saw my wife for maybe 15 minutes a day at the most. We did have weekends together, but as a married couple who two families to please and an active daughter we rarely had time as a family (me, my wife and my daughter).

Since my wife just start her new job about a month ago we are slowly getting actusom to spending more time together. I have to say things aren't better or worst than they were a few months ago; they are different.

As for your issues or problems, make lemonade with the lemons you have. I realized a long time ago that getting depressed and down on yourself about things you are unhappy with will never solve the issue and only make it worst. Instead find ways to make things better for you.

For instance, I hate commuting almost an houre one way to work; however, I do find it enjoyable as I am able to crank the radio as loud as I want and sing along with the songs on the CD/MP3 player and not worry about how it might give my wife a headache.

As for life, work, etc.. It is a *****a nd than you do die. So, make the best of it by taking the lemons thrown your way and make lemonade.

Oh one more thing; live this year is better than last year. The Bengals have already surpass last year win total.
