Florida at Florida State Prospects

No doubt Werner is the best prospect on the field; however, he'll be long gone before we pick

I want Werner & i would trade up for him..We need a consistent pass rusher...him and Xavier Rhodes both will be 10 year vets in the NFL.

He and Gillislee would be great 2nd-3rd rounders for us. I like Xavier Rhodes, just don't think we can afford a CB right now.

Werner is a good prospect however he was going against a much inferior RT. I definitely would not trade up to get him as there are several good DE prospects that can be had while keeping all of our picks.

Xavier Rhodes I believe is a good prospect. Love his physical play.

Gilleslee may be the most undervalued prospect in the game. He showed himself very well against a very good defense. Got to like guys that play good football in big games.

I might even like him better than Bernard who is ranked higher. Against Texas AM, LSU, Georgia, and Florida St, all top 10 teams, combined, he went 94 carries for 446 yards.

I really like the kid myself. What many do not seem to have the vision to see is that things are relative in what these guys have around them. Florida certainly does not have the firepower on offense that they have had in years past. It is much easier for teams to key on a guy like Gilleslee yet he continues to produce.

I would love for us to add this guy to the arsenal. Guys like him Bernard, Randle, and Dennis Johnson are going to need three down players.

Yeah I have no problem with 4.7 yards per carry in big games. Big time players produce in big time games.

Gilleslee demonstrated patience, vision, cutback ability, and breakaway speed all on the same play. I hadn't really given him much thought prior to watching yesterday's game.

I have probably spent more time looking at RB prospects than any other position as I think it is the piece to take the offense to the next level. An explosive three down back that will allow the staff to use The Firm to his strengths...a guy to spell your starter and a top level short yardage and redzone guy that does not take negative plays.

There are several three down explosive guys out there this year that could impact on day 1:

1) Giovani Bernard
2) Mike Gilleslee
3) Dennis Johnson
4) Joseph Randle
5) Benny Cunningham....depending on injury recovery

Some of my favorites.
