IF, and it's a big IF Zimmer lands a HC job...I'd look at Carolina, Arizona, Kansas City or places like that as destinations.

There is some chance that the Browns show interest.

Does he deserve a shot? I dunno. Some say he does. I think his biggest knock is, as he puts it, his "frankness". I think most owners would view that with some reservation. No owner likes someone being "frank" about how bad his team has been run....or the mistakes that have been made.

If there's ever been an owner who would hang on to a coach way past their expiration date, it's Mike Brown. He's loyal to a fault to those who are loyal to him.

Now Zimmer's problem is, any open slots that he might be qualified for are always going to be tainted by the fact that any GM or owner is now going to wonder why other teams rejected Zimmer.

I hope he does get a HC position. I think it's going to be much harder for him to do so now than perhaps it was 2 years ago, however. Jay Gruden will get a shot before Zim does, me thinks.

Why not fire Marvin and promote Mike?

I think Zim is a 'tell you how it is' kind of guy. I do not know if many owners can handle that without the buffer of a HC.

Im for the Promote Marvin to GM.... and let Zimmer take over this team He has earned it and proven Guys responde to him

At the same time Marvin has proven he can work with MikeBrown and get the most out of him.

And now that our Draft picks are staying healthy and out of Jail his drafting recorded is rapidly improving as well.

there will be quiet a few HC spots open next year

That's EXACTLY why he didn't get the Dolphins job...and probably why he won't be HC here.

Zimmer has to much invested here...but i will say this he will get the contract he wants considering the offers he will have

I really like the idea of promoting Lewis to GM and moving Zimmer up to head coach.

I like Zimmer, but when ML leaves, which will hopefully be after next year (knowing Mikey boy, ML will get a 10 year extension), I woud really like to get an offensively minded HC in here. Chip Kelly from Oregon would be awesome. I know hes a college coach, but that offense is amazing, and with the right pieces, I think he could really change an NFL caliber offense into something special.

I just think ML has stunted our offense from fully developing with his late game antics. Bring someone in who will contribute to the Offensive Coordinator and turn the Bengals into an offensive juggernaut instead of average. Our defense has all the pieces to remain a top 10 defense and if Zim does leave, I think we could still remain a great defense.

Mike Brown needs to be proactive and hire Adam Zimmer has his Linebacker coach. Mike Zimmer might not be a head coach here, but Mike Brown will move all his grand children to town!

I don't see Garrett being fired after beating two AFCN teams in December.

If Rex is canned, then we replace Zimmer (if he leaves) with Rex. Rex is a great DC.

How has Marvin stunted the offense? Against Dallas, when we tried to pass in the 4th Quarter...we lost.
