I might consider bringing him in as a human tackling dummy. It would be good to have a fast guy out defense could practice hitting so we do not make as many personal fouls next year. However, I would not like to see him in stripes when the pre-season starts. In fact, when working as a human target for Geno and they boys, I do not see why we need to waste the money of giving him a helmet or pads.

(I don't like guys who theaten violence against ladies).

This is second draft class for Steelers in past 4years that has been horrid. The Steelers build thorugh the draft and two bad classes is a bad scenario for any team to overcome. In 2009, all they have left is Mendenhall and he is a free agent.

I have to say that I think things are looking good for us going into next year. The Squeelers are getting old and have not replenished their ranks with quality youth in the past two drafts. The Ravens are about to lose the heart and soul of their D when Lewis retires, and Ed Reed cannot be that far away from a gold watch himself. We have a bunch of youth and cap space, so this could be the start of something awesome. Whodey!

The AFCN used to be a two team race every year in the past decade. I feel the Bengals have now pulled even with both Ravens and the Steelers. Now, they have a chance to kick into 5th gear. I think the Ravens are stuck in 4th gear and the Steelers are downshifting to 3rd gear.

Bengals have a great off season and we can be looking at the entire division in the rear view mirror next year.

Steelers have arrest every offseason. And im surprised a Lion isnt in jail yet.
Sometimes I am surprised that headlines don't read, "John Doe arrested. John Doe was interviewed by the CINCINNATI BENGALS at the NFL scouting combine."
Then in little letters at the bottom of the article.....
John Doe was a member of the Pittsburgh Steelers.

Personally, I could care less what someone thinks, especially if it is wrong.
We just need to keep doing what we have been and keep adding quality players.

We have a history of signing trouble players. Those days are over! Although PacMan was a better football player as a criminal.

Maybe in a few years it will end up still being a two team race. With the two at the top being the Bengals and Browns. Crazy, huh?

Obviously Cincinnati has been on the rise the last couple of years and appears to only be getting stronger.
While, the Browns have already started making some interesting moves this offseason, have tons of cap space like us, and have a good core of younger players.

These two teams very well could be trending to the top of the division.
How nice would it be to see the standings sit at 1.Bengals 2.Browns 3.Ravens 4.Steelers.....give it some time, just might happen.

Agreed.... Its just the constant jabs by the media get so old.. They still jab us in mock draft dispite the lions recent law issues.

Bengals should follow the Steelers footsteps in getting rid of Sands.

Rainey did more for the Steelers than Sands did for the Bengals. But I don't want either on this team.

I won't lie, I wanted us to draft Rainey, but I didn't know about that part and if I did, I would've passed on him. Glad we did.

Sands is roster fodder. We should at least get rid of guys like that to set an example.

And that's exactly what the Steelers did. This guy didn't have starting potential so they released him. During the season the rookie DT went on a drunk driving rampage and they kept him.

I can't believe this thread has this many posts. You'd thing a good tb was released. This guy is a poor mans Bernard Scott.

This happened last month...charges were dropped...I like the guy and we can get him on the cheap. I rememeber how much attention he got last year before the draft. He adds some muscle in the offseason, keeps the speed and realizes fully he is on the the "LAST CHANCE" list, he may amount to something.
