I am amazed at that too. I'd hire him twice before I hired Gruden. Must be that defense isn't as sexy as offense.

There are two main lines of coaching I see and they are Bill Walsh and Bill Parcells. Walsh was for smart and scheming football, Parcells was mostly old-school hard-nosed defense and ground game. But both made adjustments DURING the game and went after a weakness hard if they saw one and never let up. I know this is generalizing but any coaches that come from these two I would consider, but favoring the Parcells line a bit more.

I hope like hell Zim goes nowhere but wish him well if he does except against us, of course. What I'd really love to see is what kind of offense he would use.
