It's essentially forcing them to play their best football the rest of the way. If this team were sitting at 9-3 I'm not so sure they may be a little complacent knowing they would realistically only have to win 1 of the last 4 to get into the playoffs. However, every game counts now and the Bengals are playing an exciting brand of football.

Kind of like how we were just beating the crap out of the Raiders and then let them back
in the game in the 3rd quarter. Complacency, yeah you may be onto something here.

and Raiders but finish off a team like the Chargers in their place after some poor play.
Chargers havent been losing games because of that defense.

I think our O came around with Mo Sanu becoming our 2nd receiver...sigh. our other receiving core is also great, but Sanu really wreaked havoc on defenses doubling AJ.

Yeah, but complacency is a marvin lewis problem. We're going to have to win out IMO to guarantee a playoff spot. Can we beat both the Steelers and Ravens when this new age bengals are 0-6 against them?

To take an 8 game winning streak into the playoffs....not sure we can keep that up.

Marvin Lewis has a couple glaring motivational issues that cause our team to fail sometimes (i.e. lose), I wonder if all that he does "good" makes up for it.

I think we beat the Ravens at home to finish out the year. Flacco plays like a steaming pile of crap on the road.

That is correct. That is the only defensive stat that should be used to determine defensive ranking.
