If the player s are fat and out of shape I believe it is his job to either whip them back into shape or sit their fat butts on the bench and give somebody else a shot. Even if it means searching out players who have been cut that might want another chance to get that fat payday. 19 years of medicre O-lines going on 20. Repeating the same thing and expecting different results is either insanity or stupidity.

Always produces a bad line?

Go back and do some research. It's your right to think he needs to be canned, but at least know the facts before you post. Alexander has produced some pretty good lines here.

Now go back and REALLY watch and not through your anti-Dalton troll glasses. The line did not give "plenty of time" and also constantly let pressure in right up the middle (meaning no stepping up into the pocket because the nose of the pocket is nonexistent). And even with that the much bigger issues were the loopy offensive game plan and butterfingered "TE". Well, that and no PI or Personal Foul on Houston despite the safety going helmet to helmet on AJ in the endzone...

A shadow in a dark cave is not a bright spot

Another moronic thread hat just shows how dumb some fans are and makes you believe maybe Bengal fans don't deserve a winning team.

When I think of Paul Alexander, the terms dynamic, innovative, and progressive don't exactly come to mind.

What does come to mind are terms like staunch, stodgy, and dogmatic.

Maybe that's just my perception, but I have seen no change in style to keep in time with the evolving game.
