not a fan of bell at all for us, wasted pick IMO. Not to mention we have 2 6th rd picks that you never addressed.

OP may not consider the 6th round picks that important, as those picks typically never make the team. However, I think they should be included, as there are some very good prospects that should be left. Blocking TEs, kickers, FBs, COP RBs, and returners are typically good candidates to get picked that late and still have an impact on the team.

My list builds as the season goes on. Before i only had the 1st 3 rounds. I'm just addressing our needs with players that could impact the team.

Not a fan of any of them. I see taking a guard or a TE in round 2 as a wasted pick. Neither is that great a need. SS is a greater need than either, and we could get a good one in 2 this year.

I don't think any safety's projected that high are that good. Thats why i have Swearinger in a later round.

I definitely thing Vaccaro or Reid would add more to the team than a guard or TE.

Yes we're in need of a safety, but if the players don't have the talent who are projected high at the position we are in need of then we should look for the best players available. A guard would be a great pick with our 2nd, 2nd round pick because we are in need of a guard even though we have the 32 year old Wharton. Boling is not the answer and is average at best. Dalton has no time to throw and we need to upgrade that position and in about 2 or 3 years we'll have to be looking at upgrading at the tackle position as well.

I disagree! Our guard position is fine for now! I think drafting a T/G in the 5th rd would be good for depth and then we could get rid of Roland.One bad game for Boling is exactly what it is, one bad game, it happens.We have much greater needs than worrying about spending a 2nd rd pick on a guard.Wharton will probably not be back IMO but with a 5th T/G this year along with what we have we'll be set.Their are PLENTY of safeties worth taking in the 2nd rd.

Is the Philly game the only one you have seen?

Yes, Boling had a bad game against Philly, but he was playing VERY well before that.

He's pretty good( a real ballhawk). He plays FS which we are ok at. I think their is a cpl guys who can play SS I would rather have then him but I wouldn't be too upset if we drafted him.

his name is cool but the hype of his name wouldnt have put him in the draft...hes a good player. He'd be great for us.

agreed 100% philly is a game that we should all forget about including the offensive line...who by the way is making BJGE job look like cake.

Another good thing about this draft class is that many of them have great size for either S position. There are only a few I would peg as a FS/SS strictly.

-Elam SS (maybe that's not giving him enough credit.)
-Jefferson FS (same as above, he's smaller).

If you look back to last year, they were predicting Rambo as a SS in many mocks, before he decided to stay in school.

Bell would be good value in the 4th round. I think he will probably move up as the draft nears. Most likely to at least a 3rd round pick, and i would use a 3rd rounder on him depending on what we do in the 1st and 2nd rounds.

seen alot on all 5 safeties(a ton of tape) u and i have mentioned and theres no way u can tell me one has more potential than the other for theeir game to translate to the nfl...from hips to feet to vision and instincts...all are great players at their position dude. all have high potential and i wouldnt mind having any one of the 5...if we grab them in the right spot.

I've watched most of the guys and from what i've seen is Williams and Swearinger standing out more. I watch these guys as if there playing for the Bengals and watch how they play the game, if they play the game like a good player does then they have what it takes. If they don't play the game like they should play it, for example, Rey Mauluga..He over runs plays, misses tackles, plays in open space...If a player is making those kind of mistakes then there is hardly any room for improvment to translate to the NFL... Some players have it & others don't. You never see any player go from being bad to being great.
