Why would they want him to put up numbers similar to Gronk and Graham when he could be such a good blocker!

Haha
TDs are so overrated.

Over the last 3 weeks Gresham has played alot better. I will say there are things on the interior that Gresham does that goe unnoticed. For whats its worth he has become a failry good blocker in the run game. Here's the issues and items I have with Gresham and in this system:

1- Gresham still has the obligatory ball off the face mask and one penalty a game. You simply can not have that if you are a leader
2- Gresham's value in this system will truly only be seen when we can effectively run the football. The chiefs game was a perfect example. We were running the football which opened up play action seems, pop passes, and other isolation routes for Gresham. I truly believe this guy could be a beast with a running game
3- For where he was drafted and the hype around him I don't know if he will ever be that guy but he can be a very good tight end in this league

IDK, I don't see much of a difference between Gresham and Gonzalez these days, receiving wise.

Gonzalez uses his size and height more than speed to get open now that he is older and it has worked well for him the past few seasons.

I honestly think that Gresham is just now starting to learn to do these things.

In college he didn't have to work on stuff like that to be good.
