Man, the fact that Crystal Pepsi and Super Nintendo didn't exist when we last won is what really puts it into perspective.

Well, at least this is a record that other teams will find it hard to break.

It has been so long that your avatar Macho Man Randy Savage was still cool then. Well not actually. Was watching that guy fight against Jerry Lawler and Tojo Yamamoto in the 70's.

My apologies. Did not know he died. Quit following wrestling by 1980. My condolences to his family and friends. But it serves as a reminder about how dangerous steroid use can be.

That list didn't actually shock me.
I think I watched that game on TV. I also remember watching Frank Reich lead the Bills back against Houston. Hard to believe that game was like 20 years ago. |

TheBengals:
"At least we made the playoffs! "....TheBengals perhaps makes a telling statement on the situation now faced by the Cincinnati Bengals. The sample size of quarterback Dalton's career has now increased to 32 regular season games with a 19-13 outcome and 2 consectutive playoff appearances. The reason for play in the National Football League is the Lombardi Trophy. Regular season play is the determining factor for the Lombardi Trophy but ultimately play in the playoffs is the road to the Lombardi Trophy. With quarterback Dalton's playoff sample size, now being two consectutive playoff losses, fans of the Cincinnati bengals must wait til the sample size increases to 48 regular season games and a probable outcome of 29-19 (10-6) for quarterback Dalton to make his third consectutive playoff appearance. At this point. quarterback Dalton will be facing immense pressure to "win the game" and advance to the second round of the National Football League playoffs. A loss in the next appearance of quarterback Dalton in the National Football League playoffs adavnces the comparison with Y.A. Tittle, a quarterback who had never won in the playoffs. Though. "At least we made the playoffs! " brings a measure of confidence and satisfaction in the play of the Cincinnati Bengals and quarterback Dalton in regular season, the outcomes of two consectutive playoff appearances, brings the questions of the qualiifications of particularily quarterback Dalton and the Cincinnati Bengals in the quest for the Lombardi Trophy. |
