Don't know if he can help or not. He was probably nearby. Didn't they look at him earlier in the year? Marvin's about to release Rey, right? Riiight.
I got to watch him a UC as well. I defendly think he'll help, I was hoping the Bengals would draft him. McC has got it right, If you watched the football, you always saw Schaffer, always near the ball.
Marvin releasing REY, I don't think he would, Hell half the fan base would die of a heart attack. They couldn't have that, can't fill the place now.

I support the move to pick the guy up.

Now the question becomes will he replace anyone? He's got to be better than some of the supposed "depth" on the team. Plus odds are he's hunger to play and not tainted by Black Jesus's soft style of football and defense.

Seems like a good player, but would rather see the team sign (or learn how to use) a RB.

Looking back, I still can't believe everyone blamed 2010's failures on them. I guess TO and Chad were convenient scapegoats.

3. Sign a veteran WR [ ]
4. Draft a speed back high [ x ]
5. Draft a SS high [ x ]
6. Drop Lawson, draft a replacement [ x ]
7. Draft a center and let him battle with Cook & Robinson [ ]
8. Let Clements go [ x ]

10. Bring back MJ (as long as he doesn't demand elite money) [ x ]

These things need to happen to take the next step

The fact that undrafted players and guys like Chris Crocker that no team wanted are upgrades speaks volumes to the lack of talent on the roster.

The Bengals best players are almost always blamed for the losing...It's already starting to happen with Dalton.

It couldn't possibly be the organization, could it?

As good of a season Owens had in 2010, he was absolutely at fault; 10 picks are when throwing to him?

Yeah, he deserves at least part of the blame (Carsone as well).

Oh but I'm not.

Funny how when people don't like me, they point fingers, yet when I don't like someone (practically nobody, as I truly do not dislike anyone on this planet, outside of a handful of people), I just ignore, or keep my mouth shut.

You're only snide if you talk out of your *** with nothing to back up your statements; I don't do that.

People would rather blame a player than the organization that sets the player up for failure.

It's very odd, but I guess that's the only outlet people have when they know the organization will never change it's aspirations of mediocrity.
