Bad move, Donald Lee was probably our best tight end, too bad he got injured.

I was fully expecting Leon or Clements to be out for the year. Guess they're liking Charles.

Must be to make room for Crocker. It's unfortunate, he made some clutch veteran contributions.

Of course you were....
But yeah Charles has shown he can bring the same skills as Lee.

A critical mistake personnel wise was letting Cochart go and keeping the vet Lee. I hope that Quinn is least as good.

Right, because the team would be so much better off if they were releasing Cochart right now instead of Lee.

Still does not mean that Clements will not be out for an extended period.

If leon was going to be out a while we would have signed a CB instead of a safety.

Not necessarily true. Crocker can play nickel in a jam and with us moving what were our dime and nickel guys to starters you may see him in as a nickel occasionally.

Yes but if your starting CB goes down you don't sign a S who can "play it in a jam"
You would get a real CB. If your CB/S goes down, you get a S.

And how do you know this? based on his play in 2011? The guy was not in anyone's camp, has not played in several months. He is out of football shape.

They know that Charles is the real deal and they just didn't see anything in Lee that made him worth keeping.

Quinn is on the roster, and he's better off inactive

Makes sense for depth. If Mays/Miles does not improve by week 8 then bench em and play Crocker. That would give him enough time to get into things as we begin to try n get in the playoffs. BTW 10-6 WHODEY!

You are correct, he was released two weeks ago but maybe the Cowboys should have kept him over Witten.

Better off eh?

Just Gresh and Charles on gamedays eh?

I hope we don't get any injuries to the TE's knock on wood.

Cochart was someone we planned to bring back but was snapped up on waivers.

so we have that other TE now.

With nelson hurt. IIoka can play FS or CB (at least he took snaps at CB in preseason)

Crocker might end up being our FS for a few games. i dont know how i feel about that.

Lee i was hoping we kept cochart over him.
