Default Cincinnati Bengals 2013 opponents

I know....I know.....it's still 2012, so why am I looking ahead. So, before anyone says "Let's just focus on this year" on some poppycock of that sort, I will just let you know that this thread has absolutely ZERO bearing on the remainder of this season. It doesn't hurt for the fans to look ahead.

The reason I'm making this thread is that a lot of people were speculating that there would be a rematch with the Oakland Raiders next season. There will not be. All of next years opponents are officially determined, and are as follows:

HOME
*Baltimore
*Pittsburgh
*Cleveland
*New England
*New York
*Green Bay
*Minnesota
*Indianapolis

AWAY
*Baltimore
*Pittsburgh
*Cleveland
*Buffalo
*Miami
*Detroit
*Chicago
*San Diego

The Jets since we play the NFC East next year. The divisions rotate. Last year was the South, this year the West, next year the East, then in 2014 the South again, etc..

The Jets. We played the Giants this year, which means we wont play them again until 2016 unless we meet them in the Super Bowl.

Ah...for your sake, I'm hoping it is as well. If it is, do your best to take some noise to that stadium. How many games a year do the Bills usually play in Toronto? Just one, right?

AFCN vs NFCN is going to be tough. Bengals might easily have a worse record next year.

Last year: crappy NFCW - steamrolled pre-Wilson Seahawks, Cardinals, pre-Fisher Rams
Crappy AFCS - steamrolled Titans, Jags, Manning-less/Luck-less Colts,

This year, mediocre NFCE- steamrolled Eagles, average Redskins, average Giants
Absolutely putrid AFCW - annihilated Raiders, Chiefs, Chargers

Next year, AFCE is an average division
NFCN is a beast of a division, even their worst team (Lions) are scary

Yeah, I agree. Although, it's just brutal looking on paper. Look at this season, I thought it was going to be one of the more difficult in a while, but it turned out to be pretty mild.

Home schedule looks absolutely brutal. Five or six playoff teams and a Cleveland team that plays us close. The away schedule looks a bit more do-able. It'll be nice to win a second time in San Diego in as many years.

Agreed. We got lucky this year, even though we didn't take advantage of it, of having 5 very beatable teams in our first 6 games. I hope next year's actual schedule has a few of the easier teams to start off with, too.

Hey, man. This team is going to be better next year as well, and this season I looked at the schedule and thought: "Yeesh,...Giants at home, San Diego and Philly away"....that'll be tough. Turns out, we were just the better team. Hopefully it falls that way again next season.

Tough home schedule, doable away schedule. Don't discount us quite yet, we thought NYG-Pitt. on our schedule would be freekin brutal, but we ended up going 6 for 7 in that area. Teams change, and I'll bet we will be an even better team next season after the draft and (hopefully) some smart FA moves.

The NFC North is not as bad as you think.

Detroit is the living definition of erratic, the Vikings can't pass the ball and their D has fallen off. The Bears aren't all that either. The Packers are first class though.

Also the Jets are not that big a deal and we can beat Miami and San Diego (who is also in disarray).

That's not official, but it's a good guess. We played Arizona at home twice in a row (every 4 years), and I think St. Louis away (or was it Seattle?) twice in a row.

Also, I'm not sure how they decide the San Diego (h/a) vs. Indy (h/a). Regardless, its not that bad. I think Marvin has lost like 1 game vs. the NFC North ever.
