Default Roy Roundtree

It's probably just the Michigan fan in me, but I really hope this kid finds his way on the roster at the start of the season, what about any of you ?

Roy Roundtree sounds like he should be related to Leon Sandcastle.

I'd say it's just the Michigan fan in you. We figure to not keep many WRs as we're pretty loaded at TE and with Green, Sanu, Jones, and Hawkins already slotted in there that doesn't leave many spots left.

Is he any good? More "diamond in the rough" or "undrafted for a reason"?

At WR we have AJ Green, Marvin Jones, Sanu, Hawkins, Whalen, and Hamilton.
Where is there going to be room for this kid.
He may end up being camp fodder, just because of numbers.

If he is good, he may have a chance to make the PS.

1:00 minute of highlights from 3 years ago? Camp fodder to me.

I don't expect Whalen to be safe. I feel if McCalebb sticks at an alternate position it should be WR. If not then I expect

AJ Green, Mohammed Sanu, Marvin Jones, Andrew Hawkins, Cobi Hamilton, and well probably Whalen, but I'd rather have 6 actual CB's and put Onterio at WR if we try to squeeze him in as a specialist.

Sorry but see Eastern Ky product 6'4" WR. Tyrone Goard making it before Roundtree, and frankly do not see him making the cut either.

Think the PS is the best either can hope for this year.

You mean Roy "drops a lot" Roundtree?

I see that as a good thing. It means we will have talent at WR this year.

Last year starting with Binns, and Tate was awful. Jones and Sanu were raw, and Hawkins is more of a slot only type of guy.

This year, Jones and Sanu should be greatly improved. We will have more options to put next to Green in Eifert, Hawkins, Whalen, and whoever else sticks.

A WR our of Goard, Cobi, and Roy SHOULD make the roster. No way niether makes it. Ryan Whalen but tbe their comp. I actually liked what I saw from Ryan last year in very limited play. I think I remember him making a nice lil 3rd down catch

Just don't see it happening with all the depth we have. One thin that can be said about the Michigan receivers is that they alway play bigger than they are and h e tremendous knack for getting to the ball on lobs. Only problem is so does ever DB at this level.

Believe Cobi Hamilton makes it, but not Roundtree or Goard. Could be wrong but see the WR core being

AJ Green, Sanu, Marvin Jones, Andrew Hawkins, Cobi Hamilton, and Whalen. With Eifert and Gresham lining up as WR at times.

Not my pick, but maybe Tate too.

He's a tough receiver. He could make the team. The QB play in Michigan was horrible!

Unless Roundtree can be the best returner, he won't make the 53 for the start of the season. PS possibly though.

We have same thing at WR this year as we had last year one great WR and the rest are all question marks.

I really don't consider sanu or baby hawk as question marks. We know what we have in both and if sanu is healthy, I really have no worries about our receivers.
