Default Bengals sign new punter.

You guys got lucky, there shouldn't be much drop off from Huber.

This guy will fit right in though.

Poking fun of an injured Bengal player on a Bengals Forum from a questionable legal hit is a ban worthy offense is it not?

Is a blindside helmet spearing of a team's punter is the highlight of your team's season?

There's no such thing as getting blindsided on a kick return. If you're not paying attention to your surroundings then you get what you deserve. And no, it's not "the" highlight of the season, but it is amusing. Must be something in the water in Cincy that gives players glass jaw.

Helmet to the jaw will bust anyone's jaw.

Why is only the Steelers who break players jaws this way? Is that something they practice in camp?

Hitting people really hard is something that's practiced in every NFL camp, well, every one but Cincy's apparently.

I don't want to leave this fine effort out, Bell making Johnson his personal female dog.

You must think beating up women makes you tough as well. Only a Steeler fan would get their kicks off of one of their players blindsiding a punter and injuring him in the manner that he did.

Evidently you think I care about this rep system as much as you do or else you would not have neg repped me twice now.

Sorry guy, my life accolades are many and none of which revolve around a message forum rep system.

You're enjoying this too much and I know better than to take the bait.

I appreciate good physical play as much as the next guy. That was a good stiff arm by Bell. And the Steelers pretty much played physically harder than the Bengals throughout the game last night. They deserved the win and they got it.

I actually have mixed feelings about the Huber hit. He's on the field and in uniform (and not a QB ), so he is not a prima donna. And Huber is capable of making tackles on returns. He's done it before. But you don't have to break the guy's jaw with your helmet to neutralize him.

Excellent comparison!

You don't care about it so much that you continue to mention it constantly. Number of times I've mentioned rep=0. Number of times you've mentioned rep >0. Yet I'm the one who cares about rep? I love watching you guys cry about how much you don't care about something you constantly whine about.

How dare you! Seriously though, how anyone can not like Danzig era Misfits is beyond me. Post Danzig Misfits is pure garbage though.

Seriously, as a football player you're taught to hit your opponent as hard as you can every chance you get. The intent was not to break Huber's jaw, it was to plant him on his butt. It was a hard legal hit on a football player trying to make a ST's tackle. It's sad to me that this is even a discussion. Yet more evidence of how lame the NFL is getting.

Of course the intent wasn't to break Huber's jaw and break part of his neck, that's why he lead with the top crown of his helmet to his jaw.

the "real thing" or the "Bengals' Super Bowl" is playing the Ravens.

You'll prepare to make your run and lose the first game like usual. You'll be in the same boat we are. If you can't beat a lousy team like the Steelers, how do you expect to beat teams like the 49ers, Seahawks and Broncos?

Just as a heads up, its being speculated in Jungle Noise that there should be an investigation for a bounty on Hubert.

That's right.

Bounty on the punter.
