To the OP

Does this mean everything is fair game?

A guy suffers what could be a career ending injury and it is celebrated.

I get the whole it is football thing, so in fairness are the gloves off now permanently? Is everything fair game?

I just want to know so I handle my thoughts and posts accordingly in the future.

I used to think you were an informed and smart poster, but after this, wow, you're just sad.

What you said about "If you're not paying attention to your surroundings then you get what you deserve." is just pathetic.

No one deserves to get injured.

Just flat out pathetic SSC, absolutely pathetic. GTFO.

That's right.

Bounty on the punter.
While completely ludacris, the play was still illegal, no matter how dumbfounded you are by the reaction of the offended fan base.

Guy is pretty tough. He walked off the field after that hit which is incredible in itself.

To be fair, it was between the head cheerleader and the punter. Only time will tell if it was the right choice.

I wasn't meaning any disrespect because of his injury. I was just poking fun at the toughest player on your team is the punter meaning everyone on your defense is soft. I don't cheer any injuries. I wish no one ever had to get injured. I'm not that kind of person. I secretly wish the Bengals luck in the post season and hope you kick butt and win a Super Bowl. However this is the smack forum, so the Bengals **** and will lose.

Funny how "Soft" the Bengals Defense is, and held the NE Pats to a lowly 6 points, while the Stoolers Cheap shot artist defense "held" them to 55.. that's right double nickel..

Queue Stoolers excuses.

Surprised they didn't carry him off on a back brace with damaged vertebrae. That would be standard procedure.

With the news that has come to light, I hope he heals fast and is able to function in the NFL again. I loved the hit, even the broken jaw doesn't bother me. I don't however like neck injuries.

I wouldve had no issue with the hit....if it was shoulder to body. But leading with the crown of the helmet is the very definition of spearing. Not to mention leading with the helmet to the other players head. And its not like Huber ducked into the hit or anything. So Garvin could have easily adjusted where to apply the hit. It reeks of intent. He can surely count on a fine from the league. I have no idea how the refs missed it.

Wow I guess since you guy's have nothing to play for let's celebrate an illegal hit on a punter just like a little ***** would do. Go **** yourself and enjoy the off season that's coming up very short you ****s.

It was illegal. I admit that. I don't know how they missed it especially since it was right in the mix of everything. Maybe in the future they will add a challenge system for plays like that.

Enjoy the W Steelers fans. They'll be few and far between for the next 5-10 years. I guess Goodell found himself some new cronies.

That shows how inconsistent your team is and how they won't win the Superbowl playing like that.

Gotta love fans of a team that's been to the playoffs 3 seasons in a row and still haven't posted a playoff victory.

Can we please come up with a more creative nickname than Stoolers? Please? Stoolers is seriously something a child would say.
