Default Prime time games in 2014

How many do you think the Bengals get? And which games will those be?

Besides our 3 division opponents Home & Away

Home: Falcons, Panthers, Titans, Jaguars, Broncos
Away: Buccaneers, Saints, Texans, Colts, Patriots

My guesses:

MNF: Home Broncos
SNF: Away Patriots
TNF: Home Titans

Is it possible to not get a TNF game? There's only 13 of them, so not every team gets the unfortunate opportunity.

Really we have a lot of potential match ups. In addition to the ones you mentioned the Panthers could be one as well as the Colts.

Yeah i know this sounds bad but this is just another opportunity to show the country how unprepared we are to play big games and what a pretender we are.

I hope none.... that said, I do hope we get Hard Knocks. Seems like we win the Division when we do....(yeah, I know, not likely but it would be an awesome angle)

I'm not normally "that guy" who whines about schedules, but that schedule looks brutal.

Patriots, Broncos and the NFC south? Ouch. The Texans and Falcons will likely bounce back too.

I could see us missing the playoffs this time. Not that this team is capable of winning in the playoffs anyway.

Every team is guaranteed a Thursday game, not specifically a TNF game. There is Thanksgiving (3 games), and kickoff weekend (1 game), and TNF (13 games).

This season there were 14 weeks of Thursday Night Football. In addition to that, there was the opening week game and the 3 on Thanksgiving.

18 total games on Thursday.

I wish that there was no way the Bengals would get one this year.

The Bengals will receive the Prime Time games the NFL has determined they want the Bengals to lose.

As long as Andy and Marvin are on this team I want 0 prime time games. We would have a nervous breakdown and completely fall apart.

I expect at least one of them against Pittsburgh. Our primetime games are almost always against them. It's because of ratings. The steelers have such a large fan base all over the country that they know people will always tune into their games. There isn't a large Bengals following outside of Cincy. Maybe the Broncos or Patriots because they have a big following.

The thursday night games don't really seem to be based on ratings so that could be any team.

Probably 2 , a Sunday nighter and a Monday nighter. No way do they deserve more than that, and I wont be surprised if they only get 1.

Thursday night games don't count as they aren't primetime games.

14. Not including the two Thanksgiving Day games. Everyone plays on Thursday.

We're a division winner, so we'll get one Sunday Night home game, which will be against the Steelers, because NBC fears we won't sell out the game otherwise (and after the baby-labor-like effort to sell out the playoff game, who can blame them?). We might get a Monday Night game, or another Sunday night game, on the road, likely against (again) Pittsburgh, or maybe Baltimore (we're nothing without the the AFCN big brother/little brother story line). Then, we'll have a Thurday Night game on the road versus the Rams or some other third-rate team, assuring no one in the country will watch.

Until we prove we can easily sell out against anyone other than Pittsburgh, I can't see us playing anyone else in a primetime game at home, even with an exciting matchup like Cam Newton or Peyton Manning.

God let's hope zero and maybe we could play the playoff game on a Friday at 9:00
am or something.
