Default (Ray) Lewis Unplugged on NFL.com

Watch the interview with Ray Lewis on NFL.com (I don't have the link directly to the video).

They've got footage of Chad trying to block Ray on the 2-pt conversion. He got flattened, but is pretty darn funny. Afterwards, Chad walks to one of the coaches and says:

"Did you see where I *unintelligible* tried to go hit, on the two point? You know how I get the safety? There was no safety so I went to hit Ray." The coach laughs and shakes his head. "And I lost, bad." Coach cracks up.

It's great for a laugh. At least he's got his heart into blocking this year. After watching him try to block Ray, I think jumping into the Pound is the easier of the two.

Ray Ray, a good interview. Chad at least knows when he's been done. Funny stuff...

What I love is when commentators and fans rag on Chad for what he does but other players so often defend him. They 'get' it while so very many have it slip right over their heads.

I saw the interview it was hilarious. its hard to believe that these guys are such good friends off the field but when it becomes game time they become wariors. its like night and day. all i ever here from ray is that he loves chad and he understands him. and all ive ever heard from chad is that he talks to ray every week for support and friendship kinda hard to believe huh lol.

i also saw an interview with bart scott where he was talking to tj and he tells him that we gave you that one and tj actually agreed and said yes you did. i have never heard anything like that from tj either. i guess these teams actually get along well off the field.

Good point. People can talk all they want about one team hating another and how bitter the rivalries are whether it be Ravens-Bengals, Steelers-Bengals or Ravens-Steelers, and there may be some merit to that when they're on the field. However, there's a great deal of respect amongst these players and that's refreshing to see at a time when all we are seemingly overwhelmed with scandals at times.

Amen - I love that Ray's response was "I'm going to have to text him about that." Sadly, it makes me respoect Ray even more...

Just like the Bus, Ray's one of those players who I really respect and absolutely hate having to play against twice a year. Others, like certain quarterbacks who shall remain nameless, can kiss my patootie :) (I bet the mods didn't think to ban that word)

Like the players care...If Carson or Chad Johnson was offered more money to jump ship to Cleveland they would take it...

Football rivalries are fun from a fan aspect though, but some take it to the extremes...I dont mind a little trash talk but when you get physical IMO that crosses the line. Although I would defend my Bengals if need be.
