I find it amusing - and semi-rewarding - that every string I've initiated relative to Whodeyrevolution is almost immediately deleted. I wonder at whose behest this command is?
I thought this was a forum wherein any non-threatening, non-vulgar Bengals-related issue could be intelligently (sometimes) discussed. It's disappointing, really. Some people may not agree with the philosophy of WDR, but that doesn't mean it should be ostracized from the message boards. As true Bengals fans (all of us, regardless of our viewpoints), we deserve the right to debate these important issues. |

Par for the course. Anything anti-Mike Brown that I post gets deleted no matter how tame it is.

Mike Brown has created for himself an insular World where abject criticism is unable to permeate into his live-like-a-king existence. Let's summarize how he chooses to face his critics:
a) No banners at the game, so he doesn't have to read about fan discontent. b) Rare public appearances, so he doesn't have to face a disgruntled city. c) Rare interviews, so he doesn't have to answer straight forward questioning. d) Loyalty clauses in his employee's contracts so they can't tell the World how pathetically he chooses to run his business. e) Surrounding himself with 'Yes' people or family members. |

M Brown is a typical dictator. Just glad he is not a politician.

Re: WDR Strings
Well i am not defending his actions or going to lash out about them either. The fact of that matter is that all business is a dictatorship. The person who owns the business is the ruler. That is sort of the point of owning your own business so that you can call the shots. As far as the loyalty clause.....well if you have problems with where you work you should not be running your mouth to the media. If you are unhappy about the person who is PAYING you then you live out your employment, if you have a contract, and then leave. If not under contract then leave. I guess the bottom line is if you do not like the way he runs the team he owns then the best course of action would be to buy your own team and run it how you like. Just my opinion.

Of course it's a business and MB can run it in any way he chooses. However, owning an NFL franchise is a little different than running another type of business. NFL franchises are unique in that they have a huge, passionate following of fans - the same is not true with other businesses. An NFL franchise owner has an inherent obligation to make it successful for its fans. Companies such as McDonalds and Sony and the such have no such relationship with their customers.
