Question Bengals 90-1 Odds in Vegas to win the Super Bowl next year, can they do it? CHA CHING

I am broke and I about to bet $100 on this bet, if they do win the Super Bowl, I will get $9,000 back.

Plain and simple, can they do it? And/or do you think they will do it?

Bengals 90-1 ODDS !?

There are so many piece's to this puzzel that need to fall into place for a run like that. Im not saying it can't be done im just saying the people who set the vegas odds are there for a reason. There is a much safer bet I heard there was a 60 to 1 against them getting over 6.5 win's.That mean's all they have do is win 7 game's. To me that's pretty good odd's you win. I think they for sure win 9 speaking with my brain. My heart says 12-4 and Afc North Champions.

I'd throw $100 down on it, but don't get too excited.

Coming from a gambling man.......I say make the bet. You can easily cut back 100 dollars elsewhere in your expenses such as.....drinking. Spare a few nights at the bar and make the bet...........you have ZERO chance of making 9000 off of 100 at a bar but you sure do betting on the Bengals. I personally think we have the defensive firepower to do it but everyone must stay healthy.....and that includes Carson on the other side of the ball. Good luck.

Yeah but the 60-1 on them getting over 6.5 wins is a lock. Im going to talk to a couple of my cousins and see if we can't get a big pot to throw down on that. To me that is almost a lock. The Bengal's will get 7 win's this year.

I will name off 7 should be wins. Let's see
The Stains are good for 2 win's this season
Baltimore will be good for 1 win this season
Oakland
Detroit
Kansas City
and let's not forget LC homecoming game to close out his old stadium. IMO he has already put a check mark by this game and no way Palmer let's Sanchez outduel him.
So let's put the J E T S jets jets jets in the win column. That's 7 win's right there,
Now that's not even getting into game's I think we should win as in Green Bay and Houston, and 2 other game's that I think are winnable in Chicago and the Viking's. Also I belive with all my heart we split with Pitt this year at worse. Im taking the 60-1 bet. And I didnt even throw in our first win of the season against the Broncos. They have no QB no Wideouts and a rookie RB.

60-1 to win more than 6.5 games...there is my bet...I'd be willing to put down a couple of grand on that one...2 grand would pay back 120K
how do I place this bet?

I'll place some money on the more than 6.5 games whodey but it's hard getting it in the U.K.

However on the Superbowl note, whilst it probbaly wont happen i might give it a go as in the U.K. i can get odds of us winning at 110 - 1

Betting on the Bengals making the SB is throwing your money away. Not a big deal if you've got the disposable income, but on your last 100, I'd say no.

Can't believe the Bengals are 60-1 longshots to finish at 7 wins or better. That has to be an error because everyone would pile on that line and it'd change overnight. Probably 60-1 to win the division or AFC, especially if they're 90-1 to win it all.

i'm headed to vegas next sunday, i may have to throw down some money on them
not sure if i'd throw money on them winning the SB, but to win 7 games at 60-1 sounds like a good bet to me

The thing that stuns me the most is the poll

I know teams have their homers and all...but seriously, as it stands now the majority of fans on here actually think the Bengals will win the Super Bowl this year....Really??

we've had a good off season thus far, but come on guys, we only won 4 games last year....no coaching changes (which means same philosphy that got you 4 wins will be leading this team again this year)

I like the bengals and what they did...but over 50% think they will win the SB this year?

wow

i hope your right, but please excuse me if i don't hold my breath

The Bengals euphoria these fans feel won't wear off until the season goes down the tubes (if it does). Just let them have their fun... in the mean time I'll be cautiously optimistic that we can pull off a miracle.

Ultimately though, this team just doesn't seem ready. We had a solid draft, a decent free agency period, and most of our stars are returning to the field. I'd say give them a year to congeal and come together as a solid unit. If there was any time to bet on the Bengals to reach the Superbowl, it'd be the 2010 season.

The playoffs are still a real possibility though.

they are not getting 60-1 to win 6.5 games. for one that is an over under so that's about what they are predicting the wins total to be. they are getting plus 150 which isn't bad, but that is saying the odds makers don't think they will get over because it's minus 150 on the under. what plus 150 means is about you win a $1.50 for every dollar you bet approxamitely. but if you find someone who is really giving you 60-1 on an over under let me know i'll bet that in a second. but i think someone is mistaken because i've never even seen them give odds on a over under

on a side note i'm betting the over because your getting a good payout vs the under and i think it will happen

sportsbook.com has 75-1 on bengals winning superbowl. 35-1 on Afc. +800 on afc north and the over under is 6 games. over -150 and
under +120

Its amazing how the offseason can turn around such horrible feelings about the previous season. Im surprised the odds arent higher. That would be the biggest sucker bet in the world. I wouldnt even put money on us making the playoffs nevermind Super Bowl.

I think I have a better chance of being struck by lightning twice in the same spot than the Bengals getting to the Superbowl this season, let alone winning it. Though I'd really like to see it happen...
