Word is a trade is and has been in the works since draft weekend. Chad is not here and has not been a focus becuase he IS gone. The trade is right now between draft picks and 1 player. I wont tell you who is my source all I can say is that we have seen the last of chad as a bengal. I actually am upset to know this because besides his distractions he is a top 10 WR bottomline but he is GONE. I don't have an inside source, but I have an inside feeling that says he plays as a Bengal this season. Some people will not like that. In fact, I bet there will be Chad threads each week of the season trying to get inside his head and if he's performing good one week those who like Chad will boast about it, and if he performs not good another week, all the people who don't like him will say we should have traded him and give psycho-babble reasons for that. bah!

I dont know whether you are forreal or not, but I hope so. More importantly I hope it's a good player and a nice draft pick. Like a very good starting Center and a 1st or 2nd. I'll believe it when I see it.....

Anyone can come out and say they heard from a source Chad will be traded. If you want to be taken seriously you have to atleast give a team, a players name or for what draft pick.

And no media outlet has even a sniff of this? If your "source" is willing to tell you, why hasn't it been leaked to the media? If it doesn't make sense, it's probably not true.

This is earth shattering news if it's true. Assuming you're right and Chad Johnson is out the door as trade bait, there are only two players I would want in exchange: Devin Hester of the Bears or cornerback Nnamdi Asomugha of the Raiders with a strong preference for Asomugha. The combination of Asomugha against the pass and Roy Williams against the run in the Bengals' defensive backfield would be downright scary.

Bro, I am one of the biggest Chad supporters on here. But I could probably think of more than 2 players I would trade Chad for and Hester would not be among them, even though a trade to Chicago would make a lot of sense.

I would love for this to be true. Hopefully if true Chad can go somewhere and have a real chance at a ring! That would be a blessing! He deserves a real shot at reaching the Super Bowl and if not at least a fat check with a new place where he will be appreciated!

I never understood people who thought this way. The only way any player deserves to have a super bowl ring on their finger is if they play for us. But don't assume I think we're getting there anytime soon. I just don't root for people who played for Cincy and then left for another team. In fact, I would laugh if Chad got traded to another team and then got jacked up by our defense when we played them.
