Default Oh the joys of life.

I am sitting here, typing this at 2:08 in the morning. I have lost all hope for humanity. I look out my window and see my car. Where are my keys you ask? I can tell you this, nowhere in my ****ing house apparently. Its okay, its not like I have an important meeting with my boss tomorrow. Wait, I forgot, I do, and life ****ing *****. I know I brought my keys into this house and have not left since they were brought in. But apparently the ****ing boogeyman came and stole my keys. DAMNIT. DAMNIT.

Hmm...let me guess...did you find them hanging in your house door? Did you find them in the trunk? Inquiring minds want to know. It's a real bummer when you can't find something you just had a few minutes ago.

Whenever I have lost my keys it's been because I put them up on something. Try expanding your search to shelves and things shoulder height or higher.

Hope you find them.

I usually find my keys in the heater vent, a tonka truck, a toybox, a diaper bag, or wherever else my 2 kids decide would be a nice place to keep them while dad goes completely insane looking for them!

What kind of car is it? Usually if you give the dealership the VIN # they can make you a set!

Thumbs up Re: Oh the joys of life.

I hate Boogey Men.

(At least the "Key Fairy" leaves money under your pillow...)

I found them...they were hanging out at the browns message board.

I found this tip website:

Good Luck (seriously)

Are you being sarcastic? IE Mike Brown reference? If not, call Chevy dealer and ask if they can make a set from the vin #.

A few places where I have "lost" my keys: laundry hamper, inside a ball cap, freezer, drawer, door lock, shoe, and under a stack of mail.

This has happened to me. I had to have all my keys/locks replaced. I found them 2 years later when moving. They had fallen into the heating vent behind the tv.

Losing keys (or about anything) reminds me of Carlin's Losing Things bit....

"....You will look in the strangest places to find your keys. And you convince yourself that there is a perfectly logical reason as to why they would be there.
..Ok, I had the keys in my hand when I got out of the car from the store. I grabbed the bag with my left hand, and the banana gaucamole in my right, with my keys. So I got the banana gaucamole in my right hand with my keys and I put them in the freeze, so the keys have got to be in the freezer! [opens freezer] Oh crap, theyre not in the freezer....."

Anyways, good luck Treee. I know what a pain that is

Did you try calling 411?

I assume you have retraced you steps, they are not in the car, checked pants, checked couch.

Do you have an update for us? did you make the meeting, how did it go? did you find the keys and if so, where?

Dude, for this post, not only did you just crack me up, but I was forced to give you rep for your troubles. I have done this several times and I react the same way. Since I go to work at 4 am when I lose my keys everyone gets up and helps me. Usually it's me tossing couches and chairs. I sympathize bro.

That wasn't smack. Just an observation of the possible ways his keys could've gotten over there...when HE never goes over there.
