This is horrific, and I do not use that word lightly. To get off with 30 days in jail is a literal travesty. I sincerely hope Goodell imposes some sense of justice and suspends him for at least a full year. If ending someones life through a criminal act isn't worthy of a season long suspension then we need to do away with the personal conduct policy altogether.


Also, I never want to hear anyone complain about the judicial system in Pittsburgh being lenient again.

Selling crack is a FELONY and carries mandatory prison time. He got 3 months because he was a RB in the NFL.

The manslaughter DUI should have been a mandatory prison sentence of at least a few years. Maybe you missed the part where I said that.

The point: Both are mandatory sentences and should have gotten more prison time than they got, but didn't. And the manslaughter DUI should have gotten the most time.

Yeah, not surprising. Reading about it, I guess there is a law that states that if someone was doing something illegal when an incident happened, then no DUI. This law was for cases where someone is stopped at a light and they get rear ended, and it keeps the person who caused the wreck in the blame. Once I read that, I knew his million dollar lawyers would be able to twist it to make the deceased to be blamed since he was jay walking.

Good point, that is how I felt about it. Why are we as a society more worried about the well being of animals more than our fellow human beings. Is it because Vick's was voluntary and Stallworth's an accident? I personally don't consider it an accident because once you get behind the wheel of a car while intoxicated you are accepting any consequences that may ensue.
