That doesn't mean he still wasn't worth having. I mean let's be honest here, we got Leon Hall, Chris Henry, Jonathan Joseph, am I missing any members of the DUI squad? If the ability is there, people tend to overlook things like this. Not saying it's right, just saying that's what we tend to do.

The thing that cracks me up is that even though he's penciled in as the starter, he's still in a battle with Justin Griffith. I remember how a lot of people said that we needed this guy.

Well to be fair, had we known about Jeremi Johnson was going to do what he did, I probably would've wanted him a bit more. I mean he was a nasty blocker with a mean streak, you want that kind of guy in your backfield. However, with Johnson on the squad and being one of the best in the league (when he's at the proper weight) I just didn't see a need for him.

I wouldn't have minded taking a FB, but I thought people were overhyping him.

They did the same thing with Brian Leonard. People just wanted a FB that was capable of doing more than simply blocking. Quite frankly I'm not sure we need one to do anything more than that, it's not like Bratkowski would design FB pass catch formations, but whatever.

This was the only year that I've wanted a FB. Carson seems to like to throw to the FB as a #3 option on some plays. He showed that with Jeremi, when Jeremi is in shape. Hopefully Fui or Pressley can become that guy.
