I was very impressed by Chad's feild goal, you could tell that he has worked hard at it, he should be proud.

We can save some money with Chad. Won't have to sign a K if (when) Shayne does get hurt.

Shayne also said he was impressed and thought Chad really stepped up. Nice work Chad! |

All joking aside, it's good to know we've got a guy who could do it if we needed him in an emergency. The kick was great and his kickoff wasn't bad by any means, for a WR/emergency kicker. Love the depth!

I was listening to Lance on the way home (I know, I know...I shouldn't) and he was going on and on about how stupid he felt the move was, risking Chad's health by having him kick.
I was like "WTF?". Does Lance not understand the chance of injury relative to a wideout versus a kicker? Granted, the kickoffs are a little riskier as we have seen Shayne make tackles, but...it's freaking football! Anyone else hear that? Or think we shouldn't have done it? Could Huber have punted the kickoff instead? |

And on the kickoff you know Chad isn't going to make much of an effort to make a tackle. After he kicked it he was celebrating his kick; he certainly wasn't running down the field trying to make a stop, even though the KR had gotten to about the 40 yard line. The chances of him getting hurt are pretty slim while kicking a ball. That dude is in the best shape and you know he has strong, durable legs.

I did not get to watch the game, as I live out of market. I was quite amused when I heard about it on ESPN radio this morning. At first, I thought, well at least he did not make an a** of himfelf with some half hearted bungling practice like attempt. After watching the you tube video, I say he looks competent to be at least an emergency kicker. Would like to see some video of him kicking FGs from 35-45 yds, from the hash marks, could use a little more distance on the KO, as well. All in all, I'm fairly impressed.

For those of you in the Columbus area familiar with "The Common Man and The Torg" show on 97.1 The Fan, I just called to say that Chad's extra point was "The Greatest Moment in Sports History" over The Miracle on Ice, The Play (Stanford/Cal) etc...haha
They were not pleased. Biggest Browns homers ever and I love calling in saying silly stuff like this to tick them off. All joking aside, I think Chad reminded us all last night how fun it can be to have him on our team...

At first I tought it was a silly gimmicky thing that Chad wanted to do, but then I read that Graham has a groin injury. That makes it even more cool. |

After this year, all the Chad Ochocinco haters will be exposed for the miserable people that they are. They will no longer be able to use words like "cancer" or "selfish" when referring to Chad. The man is the ultimate team player and he's having fun doing it, with the Cincinnati Bengals.
Great PAT and great kick off Chad, my hat goes off to you.

Everyone seems suprised and stuff, that he made good kicks.
Um, didn't he first get his scholarship in SOCCER? I mean, it is well known in the NFL that Chad is a good soccer player, and that he is a big soccer fan (isn't it? I mean, being in Canada, these idiots don't know aything about football. They think they do, but they don't...)

If he can just play nickel corner and get Andre Smith signed, they'll be set.
