You know few teams will blitz effectively like Denver did, and you've gotta lose a couple. It says alot that they tied it up at the end!

I wouldn't be too upset Steely....Denver just played a great game and it was still in doubt near the end.

Ben played great the second half, probably the best half of football i've ever seen him play as a pro.

IT makes it for a better game next week!!!!

Who-Dey!!!

IMO, NFL Centers have no excuse for fouling up multiple snaps in a game. That one was a killer.

It's over.. I'm over it.

This much is true.. but it just bugged me. The oline played without emotion half the game...

And if I see Marvel Smith standing up with his hands on his pudge while the play is still going on and Ben is dodging for his life, I'm gonna puke.

They played bad on the road against a team that obviously wanted the W more. I agree with the comment Michaels made earlier, that in the first half of the game the Steelers looked like they didn't even want to be there playing football. They gave up 21 of those 31 points in the first half. Much like many Bengals games I've watched this season, they won the second half, but it didn't matter after giving up too much room on the scoreboard in the first. The end of the game was handled poorly by Mike Tomlin, though. With 8 minutes left, they should have went into a hurry-up offense and tried to give themselves a chance to take it down field again. He is new to the head coaching gig, however, so don't mistake my commentary as a doubt in his future.

The only good note to this week for Steelers fans is that the Ravens lost also. And to be honest, I'd rather the Steelers play the Bengals off of a win that ended a 4 game losing streak than play them on a 5 game losing streak.

That's a sad thought, John Lynch and Dre Bly had trouble in the 2n half slowing down the Steelers offense, and the Broncos know how to blitz, I'm not sure that Chuck B even knows what the word blitz means.

We played one half of Steeler '06 football, then one half of Steeler '05 football. Too bad Steeler '06 football is so hard to overcome.

At least the O-line improved in the second half. Where was our defense all game?

Oh well. We lost, fair and square. Denver simply outplayed us. It stinks, but we're still 4-2. We'll see where the second half takes us. :)

And I swear to God, if GhostWriter makes another thread about us needing to run the ball, I'm going to puke.

That sounds familiar from the last year game three against the Steelers when Palmer fumbled bad snaps. And welcome to the club of puiss poor fundamentals play.

You're right,it's a smelly, stank, messy matter with a worse case scenario of smelling like a dead carp in summer-- enclosed in a hot car. Well at least that's what it smelled like when I had to take a female co-worker home because she got too drunk, but next time she had to take a cab because it took a can of lysol to get rid the smell;I should have just sold the car honestly.

Ugh. Can't sleep. I hate losing close games at night....

I need to ask a serious question.

I don't meab to sound like sour grapes either. We didn't get any pressure on Cutler and left our secondary out to dry much of that game.

But awnser me this...

Isn't the QB just another player when he is running with the ball and not giving himself up? How can you call a hit to the head on the QB when the QB is a running back?

Also, when 4 Broncos have your QB wrapped up and the refs blow the whistle THEN said 4 Bronco platers throw your QB to the ground, why is that not unessicary roughness?

Hardly made a difference in the game, but I really don't get either of those calls..

Well if you can't relax and get to sleep try listening to Andre Bocelli while in bed;that usually works for me.
