bengals 6 round Draft with some offseason pick-ups!

First i want to say not surewhere we will pick, but going on #5 or #6 pick.....

First we pick-up Lance Briggs ( i know when has a Bengals offseason aquire a large FA, but we are due).....

First Round...
Calais Campbell DE Miami

2nd Round....
Frank Okam DT Texas 6-5 320 40 yd. 5.24

3rd Round...
Wesley Woodyard OLB Kentucky 6-1 215 40 yd 4.49

3rd Round......
Vince Hall ILB VT 6-0 238 40 yd. 4.89

4th Round.....
Dre Moore DT Maryland 6-4 305 40 Yd. 5.04

5th Round......
Caleb Campbell SS Army 6-2 223 40 yd 4.53

6th Round.....
Joey Haynes TE Maryland 6-8 262 40 yd 4.88

First time doing a draft but i think this is a very good draft defensively.

Think about it

LB Core= Woodyard, Briggs, Hall, & Brooks...w/ Thurman as a possibility...OUCH

DE = Geathers, Campbell, & a slight chance of being back Pollack
DT= Peko, Okam, Moore , Can you say WALL

Safety = Jackson, White, Duke Nukem, Campbell

And to appease all with a TE, a big one at that....!

I like your draft it's defense some people on here keep wanting to draft offense when the defense is in the worst shape.

First off We will not go after briggs. I do not know about the first round pick i would perfer Chris Long. Second round i think is a good selection people have him going in the first round but he will go in the second like Branch did last year. The two third round selections are solid. Woodyard might move up to the second round though. The fourth rounder Moore is a great player and will be moving up the draft board. Good draft though.

Ok do all of us a favor. Take your left pinky and place it on the A key. Then move it over an inch to the left and press down. That's all it takes to turn the Caps Lock off so you don't sound like a 90 year old man who's been cut off on the highway.

Based on what? How many Virginia games have you seen?

As to the first post, we will not go after Briggs, or any other big name free agents. And I would love Okam in 2. But he's a late first round pick, I think.

Okam should get drafted in the first round but he will fall to the second round because there is so many talented DT's in this years draft.

Lance Briggs is going to be very pricey! We have a lot of free agents of our own that we need to sign and some of those will be high priced. The Bengals are still going to try to be at a certain nummber under the cap before the draft.

Yes he will be pricey, but come on we need some veteran leadership here on our D...i think Dhani Jones was the diamond in the ruff, and i feel he needs resigned....

I also think a must is locking T.J. down long term.....

Beyond that i can see more people leave..not like any of them got me going, man we need to resign this guy!

Its about time the Bengals make a splash in FA market....i know most likely not, but a guy can dream!

And is Haynesworth that good to make a defense look awful like the Titans, if so, he should be on our radar too!

Landon Johnson is a must sign but we dont need a player like Lance he is going to want to much and is not worth it. Haynesworth would be a lot more help to us. He will be resigned though you seen how bad they where with out him. We need to just try and keep as much as possible so people learn how each other play and become a big happy family.

Two significant trades....we trade TJ to Philidelphia for their 2008 1st round and 3rd round picks. Hey it makes some sense, they need a proven WR bad! And we have one who we can spare, i know i know, but TJ...we can find a good on in 2nd or 3rd!

And we trade our 2008 and 2009 1st round picks to NE for there 2008 1st round pick!. Yeah it is a dang good trade once you see who we get!

First Round...
Glenn Dorsey DT LSU

From Phili....lets say 12...
Calais Campbell DE Miami

2nd Round....
Fred Davis TE USC

3rd Round...
James Hardy WR Indiana

3rd Round......
Vince Hall ILB VT 6-0 238 40 yd. 4.89

3rd Round from Philli
Leman LB Illinois

4th Round.....
Carl Nicks OT Nebraska

5th Round......
Caleb Campbell SS Army 6-2 223 40 yd 4.53

6th Round.....
Martin O'Donnell OG Illinois

7th Round
Eric Scott C/OG Kentucky

And to appease all with a TE, Picked up one of the top ones in the draft in round 2....!
I think i did ok with update, there is some trades which most likely wont happen, but could also......

But that would be one heck of a balanced draft i think!

Not bad for my second mock!

If that draft actually happened I wouldn't be around for the 2008 season. I have a heart attack from being to excited and die..
