drunk Quarterback Solution

Kevin Kolb is on the trading block. He would be the second starting quarterback for the Bengals to come out of the University of Houston !!! Since the Bengals did so remarkably incredible while we had David Klingler under center, just imagine what Kevin Kolb can do for us. I say we trade Carson outright for Kevin. I believe Carson would be a credible back-up to Michael Vick. Palmer reminds me a bit of David Krieg (although Carson isn't quite as accurate), he would make an excellent roving back-up (journeyman) quarterback, and a guy who can win some games for you when your premier/elite starter goes down.

Kolb = Klingler V. 2.........Remember that juggernaut team we had in the mid 90's? Go University of Houston, & go Bengals Who Dey !!!

P.S. (no sarcasm in this post at all)

i detect sarcasm, yet you're saying we should pick up Kolb, and then comparing Kolb to Klingler. I'll accept your ruse, and ask you if you know anything about this team's history. Props if this actually is sarcasm on your part btw.

Obviously because Russell doesn't have the amazing University of Houston pedigree that both Klingler & Kolb possess.

Good Idea, but I doubt Philly would go for it.

I'm sure someone somewhere in the world really eats fried raven.

I like the way you think, though. Fried Baltimore Raven makes a great Sunday afternoon snack!

In seriousness though, when I went to Cairo, Egypt they have fast food-esque (I say that because they were a cross between a sidewalk cart and a deli with no indoor dining) places that serve FRIED PIGEON.

Yes, absolute total sarcasm. I saw that Kolb was from the University of Houston, then I just ran with it. I think it's funny that I'm actually losing rep. points for what was obviously a joke. Oh Well

Phillys offense is centered around Kolbs style of play, not vicks, Vick is just on a hot streak and as soon as he has a mediocre game Kolb gets the start

Hi Joe,
I live in the philly area and there is a lot of talk about Colb being traded. Supposedly, even rumors he is going to the Browns. Personally, i hope it is true because this kid has failed to impress me so far. i have no link to provide for those who require it, but that is what Eagle fans a chirping about as of late. later

Carson right now is a STARTER on any team. I dont like how hes played either but to say he should only be a backup is crazy. Kolb just got benched why would we trade our starter for a bench rider?

Cmon dog

If anything we got Jorddan and Dan LeFevour on roster see how they do before we make moves for QBs that isnt free agency. You never know.....Matt Shcuab was sittin behind Mike Vick in ATL for years before he got a chnace.

I remember that too...I think Vick was hurt and all the Falcons fans were like man were gonna ****, and Matt came in and did a great job....By the grace of god ATL got Ryan, but im just sayin QBs are to be found, but we DONT go get them by trading our starter for a bench player. If thats the case id rather see what LeFevour is gonna do.

And I dont think its idiotic to think Kolb is on the block NOW.

The only crazy thing in this thread to me is trading Carson for Kolb.....I mean like really?
