I don't see the Bengals able to beat the Dolphins, Steelers, or Colts. That will make them 2-7. This definitely means the season is over. Might as well lose the rest to get a good draft pick. We are worse than the Browns and that sums it all up.

The Bengals should draft someone like Andre Smith. He's been excellent in his tenure.

Well, since Akili Smith > Carson Palmer it wouldn't be so bad.

John Abraham flat out embarassed him on sunday. If he thought Abraham was too fast, Woodley will have a field day. Honestly, worst draft pick in recent memory. Even worse than drafting a bust QB. Because with a QB, it's like - at least you're trying to improve the team. Drafting a right tackle in the top 10 and paying him LT money is stupid from every angle, football, off the field (weight problems, flopping on agents prior to combine, skipping or missing parts of the combine?) and busisness. Dumb. Last edited by Asmith(DE); 10-26-2010 at 10:48 PM. |

Even if the Bengals went 2-14,... they wouldn't know what to do with the #1 draft pick.

Maybe they can find another grossly overweight overrated RT and pay him LT money so he and Andre Smith can spell each other after each play.

Need I remind everyone that the Bengals, (best team in Ohio) are still the Division Champs
until someone takes it away from them. |

andre smith played 74 snaps on sunday. first time he's ever started and finished a game in the NFL.
Benson averaged 6 yards a carry running to his side. He gave up one sack to john abraham, a man with 95 sacks. |

Did it ever occur to you that they could WIN all 3 games? It's actually possible. Here's why: 1) The Dolphins are playing the Bengals at Paul Brown Stadium. That's a home game! Bengals are still seething about barely losing to the Falcons. I think they take it out on the Dolphins and Carson has a monster passing game - this time starting in the 1st Quarter. I see the Bengals winning big here! 2) Even though the Bengals seem to lose a lot outside of the AFC North, they seem to be built to beat the teams in the AFC North. Steelers are part of that division. Bengals already beat the Ravens. And last I checked, the Ravens beat the Steelers. So, it seems logical that the Bengals will beat the Steelers. 3) The Colts are full of injuries. The latest being Dallas Clark. He's out for the season. Since he's Peyton's security blanket, it could keep him from scoring as many points as he'd like. In addition, the Colts run defense is pretty porous right now. So, Cedric Benson could have a field day here and run up and down the field scoring touchdown, after touchdown. See? 3-0! No problem! Bengals could come out of this with a 5-4 record and be right in the thick of the playoff picture. Of course... I could be wrong! ![]()

![]() Dude... I'm just trying to prop up Bengal fans so I can have a decent week of smack talk when they play the Colts in Indy. I don't want to come here during that week only to hear crickets... and Steeler fans trying to goad the Bengal fans into smack talk. It's not fair, I tell ya'! ![]()
